If you are planning to go to the DLR after the begining of Feb 2007 and are looking for discounted tickets I have found another convention offering the discounted tickets. I ordered convention tickets through gaydays this year and saved alot of money :) . You do not have to use these tickets during the actual convention, they just have to be used before Dec 13th 2007.

I can never get links to work correctly but you go to the website:

conventionguest dot com/golfindustryshow

you have to order the tickets before Feb 2 and they will be sent out by Feb 7

Hope this helps some people

That's awesome savings! You didn't have to register or buy anything else? Just called the # or submit on line and they will be sent to you?

No just fill out the form and they will send the tickets to you after the order cut off date. We actually got our tickets earlier than they said they would come when we ordered off of gaydays.

Wow! :thumbsup2 That is a really great discount! We would save over 100.00 on our park hoppers....

How do you know for sure that this is legitimate or not? I'd hate to arrive and learn that the tickets are not usable.

Gaydays and other businesses have been using these tickets for years now. I haven't heard anything negative about them. the website you order from is Disney's official convention website. The tickets that we got were sent to us from Orlando and are exactly like the tickets you get from Disney, they just have the discounted price printed on them instead of the gate price. They say nothing on them about what convention you purchased them for and can be used at anytime before Dec 13th. If you have any questions they have a customer service email at the bottom of the order page.

Was last year the only year you did this?

Has any one else did this?

The adult ticket price is only $10 different for 5 day hoppers if you buy your tickets in advance with the "everyone pays kids price" that is valid through April 26 (kids tickets on the convention site are better priced) Convention tickets also do not typically include early entry. Just a couple things to consider.

Oh so true. I have the Gay Days tickets, and, while I saved over $150 on my tickets, I don't have EE. The last time I was in DL with EE I told myself it was priceless! :rolleyes1

I didn't know the convention tickets didn't include EE.

You just have to weigh your choices.

DL now has EE? When we were there in 2004 they did not....Definitely not worth it to miss that opporunity, especially if it turns outto be really busy in the parks. :)

Yes the convention tickets don't have EE but we saved over $200 on our tickets and 1 extra hour in the parks wasn't worth $200 to us. If DL had EMH like WDW it might be a different story. Instead we are going to us that $200 on Suvi's.

Hmmm, I'll have to check it out. We're going during the "pay the kids rate" and getting 3 day hopppers. The link you gave out will save us $45, so may do it. Only $4 savings per adult ticket, but a $24 savings on the child. That's a meal while I'm there!
Edited to add, when you include the $10.95 for s&h, we're not looking at as much savings, but if I weren't going during the kids promotion, it would be great!

We bought the GayDays ticket and saved 140.00 that was a great savings and we are using it to do a character breakfast. We don't get EE but I heard if you go first thing on a non-EE day then it is great, head to FL and you can get a lot done because no one is there before you. EE mornings are more crowded than non EE mornings. I will test this out on Friday.

The tickets are regular tickets, no need to go to the ticket booth, just through security and to the turnstiles.

Thanks for the info. We are staying at the DLH, so we will still get EE, even if the ticket we purchase don't have it. We are going in May, just after the "Kids price" ticket sale is over :sad2: oh well :goodvibes
