For those of you with high school seniors

going through the college admissions process, I thought you might get a chuckle out of this....I know I did (and badly needed a chuckle right now!)

On the collegeconfidential.com website, someone posted a question about how to inform the schools you're not attending and another poster came up with this gem:

Send them flashy, expensively-published brochures non-stop for several months, extolling the virtues of yourself and what you can offer as a student.

Then, on May 1st, send them a thin envelope informing them that "while many talented schools applied for my studentship this year, only a very small portion make the cut. I'm sorry to inform you that this year's studentship only had room for one college, and you were not chosen. I hope you have a very promising educational future, whomever you end up admitting."

Then have your photocopied signature at the bottom.

haha..last year i was a senior in high sschool and EVERY day in the mail i would get at leaset 2 things from colleges...even AFTER i sent in that i wouldnt be attending those schools..i loved that..i should have seen that last year!!
