For those of you who've seen Cirque at both Vegas & Disney...

I prefer Cirque in Las vegas. Why? That's a good question. I think it's due to the atmosphere in Las vegas.
La Nouba was the most boring Cirque show I have seen, but then again maybe I've just seen too many and they're starting to look the same. I've been to 3 different shows now - Mystere, O and La Nouba. Mystere is still my fav and I've seen it 5 times. I especially love the Mystere music!! That's just my opinion!

Okay, we have been to Mystere and to La Nouba. La Nouba was the first Cirque show we ever went to, and perhaps that is why it is still my favorite. I enjoyed both shows a lot, but La Nouba holds a special place for us.

Haven't been lucky enough to see "O" yet. But hopefully someday....

Hubby and I are planning on seeing La Nouba again on our upcoming trip this summer. (I will be purchasing tix this weekend! That is always the big signal to me that we won't be backing out of our trip plans, since the tix are non-refundable.)

I say- if you are wondering if you will enjoy the show.......go for it! You will love it. Whether you will love it as much as the Vegas shows or not.....who can say? Everyone has their own opinion. But the shows (all of them) are well worth the $$, IMO!

Good luck!

We saw Mystere first and were absolutely overwhelmed by the dramatic beauty of the production.

We saw La Nouba about 4 years later and enjoyed it a lot, it is breathtaking but different. I think it is geared to include children more than the Vegas productions but it isn't only for children.

They are different productions but both are breathtaking and amazing in their own way.

I have been to Mystere and La Nouba......La Nouba is my favorite. They are both excellent, but I found La Nouba to be lighter and more enjoyable. I truly enjoy the Cirque shows and wouldn't hesitate to go to any of them.

We have seen most of te cirque shows, Alegria (twice), La Nouba (countless times), Quidam (Three times), O (once) Mystere(once), Dralion (Once) and Varekai (three times)...

I enjoy all Cirque shows as they all have elements that make them different from the others. For me personally Mystere (in Las Vegas is my favorite) but La Nouba is just as enjoyable. I was mesmerized by the effort and the thought that went into O (the water one in Vegas) but was not as impressed with the acts. In my opinion it is a bit more impressive to have to land on someones hands or a tight wire or just a stage than it is to land in a pool of water. Don't get me wrong, O was worth every penny and I would go see it again, but it was not my favorite. I enjoy La Nouba a lot as the music is very playful and the story is fun. The performers put so much into any Cirque show that I admire them all.

I have seen only 2 Cirque show...La Nuba and O. I saw La Nuba first and liked it enough to make sure we say O when in Vegas.

They are both good, yet different. Like I said La Nuba was my first experience with Cirque so I didn't have any preconcieved ideas. It was very good. I think it was more geared to children (trampoline acts, children acts etc.)

O was excellant, I think I liked this better. The staging with the water and the effects they could create were amazing. We were in the first row of the lower balcony and these seats were perfect. You could see right down into the water.

I have no regrets from seeing either. They are different but good. I plan on seeing Zumanity the next time I am in Vegas. If you are a Cirque fan I do not think you would be disappointed with either.

we have seen LaNouba, O and Quidam (we are seeing Varekai this summer!)

we saw LaNouba first and i really loved it. with Quidam i think the real tent lent something to the show and it was more intimate than LaNouba.

i don't think one can even compare O to any other Cirque show. it's completely different.

we've seen all of the permanent shows (mystere, o, la nouba) and several travelling shows (quidam, dralion, at least one other i can't recall). we've also seen zumanity which was just plain weird.

our opinion is that the permanent shows are all better than the travelling shows, and mystere is the best permanent show followed by la nouba with o bringing up the rear.

we were relatively disappointed by o especially considering the high cost.

la nouba is definitely one of the best cirque shows out there. we just liked mystere a little better.
