I can remember a while ago we had a wedding dress thread on here, which was lovely to see!

Today, I got round to looking for my 'something blue', and I was wondering what y'all had for your Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue or what you're planning to have!

I've seen some fab ways these things have been incorperated into weddings before so I thought it would be an interesting subject to discuss!!

So far, I've got planned:

Old- My Dad's Wedding Ring in my Bouquet (Could also be my borrowed!)
New- My Wedding Dress.
Borrowed- Maybe Dad's wedding ring, maybe whatever else I can lay my hands on! Lol!
Blue- I'm looking at getting a blue glass heart charm thing to have tied into my bouquet.....

Old - my grannies engagement ring (She let me have it for the day and then left it to me in her will when she died, It was her mums ring too)
New- my dress and new necklace from DH
Borrowed - tiara from my best friend ( i had always loved it and was delighted when she said I could borrow it)
Blue - my garter and a bit of blue ribbon in my flowers

Blue - I had blue crystals on my tiara, on my necklace, earrings and blue Irises in my bouquet (so well covered!)

Borrowed - A bracelet from my sister.

A few of you seem to have had a sixpence in your shoe.... May I ask why this done? Is it purely for the 'something old' is there another reason?

Old - not decided yet but could be a fake fur stole that my aunty (who I look like) wore as a bridesmaid when she was 8.

New - dress/shoes etc etc.

Borrowed - I am borrowing the the hoop for under my dress.

Blue - Garter, in fact its a Chelsea one as that is DFs team, I'm a Liverpool supporter so it's a big surprise for Mike and one i'll have to keep quiet from my Dad!

Well its not quite 2 years for us yet so here goes..

Old - my pants!! (sorry - didnt need a new pair!!)
New - dress
Borrowed - my sisters pink handbag from her wedding to put all my bits in
Blue - had my toenails painted blue!!
I have a picture somewhere!!!

I have just sold my tiara.. it was sooo lovely but has sat on the top of my wardrobe since the wedding.. I didn't think my son would need when his turn comes!
