Question for those of you who scored a BOG reservation from a cancellation...

1) How close were you to your travel date when you found you miracle reservation (days, weeks, months)

2) Did you coordinate with a posted cancellation or was it just luck?

3) What time of day were you online/phone/in person making your reservation?

4) Did you book online, over the phone, in person (concierge or walk up asking for cancellations)?

5) How many were in your party (we have 3...wondering if more tables are available for 4 than a party of 3)

1) I booked my trip about 102 days out, and found a late 8:30 pm reservation that I was not happy with. I recently found one at a great time and date that worked for us, which was about 60 days out.

2) I just kept checking online and did not coordinate through a post. Its been mentioned many times on this board that people have not been able to coordinate cancellations for BOG because they are not necessarily released back into the system immediately.

3/4) Within the last two weeks I found two reservations for BOG online, between 5:45-6am EST.

5) We are a party of 6. Try entering an even number (+1 more) to your online reservation search. As mentioned in other posts, it has helped others get a reservation with an even number then call and have them adjust it.

I definitely feel I got lucky, I tried several times a day, online only. It wasn't till I started checking in the early am first thing before work, when I found two reservations. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but it worked for me. Good Luck and keep trying. More cancellations are likely 45 days before when Disney Packages are due in full and people cancel their trips and reservations.

I'm very grateful to this board because I would of given up trying. I found alot of helpful tips and information when the reservation system was acting wacky!
