Do you just call up & say:

"Hey can you check to see if there is a pin code to my name?"

If they say yes then::cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

And if they say no do you just say "thank you for looking" & hang up.

And if they say no do you call again at a later date to see if there is one?

And (boy I am full of and's aren't I?) how far in advance do you check or start checking?

I think in all the years I have go to Disney, I have received 1 stinkin' post card & that was probably 10-15 years ago & I didn't have a trip planned for there. I have used either AAA or the general public code to get a cheaper rate.

I am not going until next August & my dates are flexible with in a 2 week period (I reserved August 11th-22nd but I am cutting off a few days when I find cheap airfare). So should I wait until sometime next year to call?

Heck, I may give in & get an AP if it will save me some $$$ at the Poly.

hi; I just called the other day to check to see if anything was attached to our name and the cm told me no... My response was "thanks for looking" even though I wanted to scream ...:lmao: the cm also told me that you can check back biweekly to monthly to see if anything has been attached. She said if I didnt want to call I can email guest services and they will reply back as well.

Yup, I just called and said- I'm just wondering if there's a pin code attached to my name. He said, hold on let me check. Came back with yes there is. I was like :cool1: :banana:

You're not going to have one for a year out. You should call when you hear of other's getting in the mail/email a few months before your travel dates. Like this new batch that just came out - I actually did receive one in the mail yesterday... but called last week to find out... the dates are 9/30-11/19, 11/24-28, 12/8-12/23. I'm going 11/12- 16th so I knew my vacation dates fell within that time period.

So hang tight- you have some time to find out.

Thanks for your responses.

I figured it was too early to ask the CM's now but I like to have the info tucked away in my brain for future use.
