For those of you who have booked HH at 7 months, any chance of June next year?

Usually I roll my eyes at people who ask the what do you think my chance are questions,
But here I go anyway:
I was thinking of going to Hilton Head next year with my son, DIL and my 2 grandchildren.
I don't own at HH so I'll have to wait until the 7 month window in November, but being the obsessive planner that I am the wheels are already turning.
I thought of going once school is done as my DIL works in a school library, so probably mid to late June, a 2 bedroom would be what I would like to book.
My plan would be to book right on the 7 month window, but am I building myself up to be disappointed.

I think your chances are good if you are looking to book a 2-BR as opposed to a studio or 1-BR. There are 76 2-BRs compared to only 21 1-BRs and 21 studios. Also if you can be flexible on your dates that might help, too. It's a beautiful resort! Good luck!!!

Chances are better the earlier in June you can book! But I do think you have a shot because you are looking for a 2 bedroom.

I would start calling for the earliest possible date in June you can go.

Thanks for your input. We went to HH about 10 years ago, my kids were just teenagers, and this was before I owned DVC. We had a great time.
We were thinking of all going to WDW next year, but the cost for my son and his wife was a bit prohibitive with having to pay for airfare and park tickets. I had just taken my grand-daughter to the Delaware shore for the weekend and the light bulb went off in my head, and HH came to mind.
I just discussed it with my son and he agrees they would enjoy a relaxing vacation. We can drive and no need for park tickets!
Now I have to patiently wait for the 7 month window, well at least I've got a WDW trip in September to keep my mind on other things.

We went to HHI last year in May, we had points that where going to expire (i think they where borrowed poins from a trip we had to cancel). I think we booked the trip about 2 months out.

I was able to get a 2BR the first week of June this year at 7 months.

We booked a 2BR villa for the last week in June in 2010. (Three out four family members work in public schools!) When I called in November I could get all but one of the days so I waitlisted that day-and it became available the very next day! So if you need to waitlist don't be discouraged-we had a wonderful stay-great weather, very relaxing.
