For those of you who arrive at MCO in the afternoon...

...is the airport usually busy? We booked tickets for our summer trip, and won't be getting into MCO until around 2:30PM. Is the airport usually busy? Are there long lines for car rentals? For those of you who are Emerald Club, how are the car choices? Is this a good time to arrive? We usually arrive at either 10AM or 11PM, so this will be different for us. Thanks!

We always arrive at that time and usually on a Tues or Wed. The airport is not all that busy and we have had wonderful luck on the EA at that time of day.

usually arrive between 2:00-2:30 on a wednesday afternoon in late March, my parents and I are usually in our rental car about a half hour or so after landing. the longest wait is for my mom finding the car

by the time we get off the plane and use the bathrooms away from our gate to avoid the crowds and get over to the main terminal our luggage is usually on the luggage claim going around !

We normally arrive MCO mid morning, with enough time to pick up the car, drop luggage at our hotel and have lunch in DD. This time we're using free sky miles and the only non-stop flight we could get arrives at 4:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon. I too am hoping that there will be a nice car waiting for us on the EA!
