which do you prefer? I've heard good things about artscow and snapfish. Mixed results on shutterfly. Wanted to check w/ the experts before I tried doing it. Also, is one more expensive than the other? Has anyone tried making an autograph book through Wal-Mart's photo book making?

I haven't printed mine yet, but from what I can tell, artscow is the best. That is where I have them loaded and waiting. I tried the others, but either they didn't have the size that I wanted or the pages wouldn't lay out quite right. They seem to have the best price also. You can always do what I did, load a few pages on each one and try laying them out to see if they look the way you want them. HTH! :thumbsup2

I use Artscow for my scrapbooks and I have been very happy with them. Just be warned, shipping takes forever!

How long should I allocate for shipping? For a newbie making an autograph book, how long do you think it will take me to make it on artscow? Shipping time is what I'm most worried about. I can push myself to get it done, but I can't change shipping times, so I want to make sure I allocate enough time before our upcoming trip.

I just received mine from artscow and loved it. This was my first attempt at anything and it turned out great. Shipping took about 2 weeks. I will post some pictures later when I figure out how to do it.:goodvibes

I loved artscow. The quality is great and the pages seemed to fit better than other places I have tried. It took me exactly a moth from the day I ordered to get mine. I have some pics posted in my pretrip report if ya wanna see!!

I ordered through artscow as well.............. and I can say I'm sincerely impressed with how the book turned out - I'd NOT hesitate one second to order from them again.

That said................... IF you are on a time crunch - be aware - they are in Hong Kong - so shipping does take awhile!!!

I ordered DS's book on Feb. 3rd - got an email that it had been shipped on Feb. 12th and it was delivered on Feb. 28th. (not sure if this is the norm - I'd assume this is the SHORTEST amount of time to receive it - I'd bet on longer to be safe)

So, just keep that in mind when ordering from them! - It's WELL worth it though, the quality and detail is beyond anything I had hoped for.

** Here is the first page of a thread I posted when I got it............

It is the hardbound 5x7 book with 42 pages - it cost $17.98 - with FREE shipping!!! (Oh, this also includes $2.00 to have the artscow logo removed)

I cannot say how happy I am at how this turned out..............

Here are some pics - the front cover, just a few random pages.......... and the last page. Click on the pics to enlarge!!!

** ALL the autograph pages you see are Natalies - you can check her files for them! The back page is hers as well.
