Yep, I agree, I made the mistake of going on Lincoln's Birthday weekend this year and it was CRAZY crowded. I mean like scary crowded with tons of kids who were out of school on Monday. It was also surprisingly hot (in the upper 80's). The only good thing was there were a LOT of celebrities in the parks, Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford & Calista, and Diane Keaton to name just a few.

Do you know which weekend in Feb. this usually falls on? We're planning a trip and would like to avoid this time, thanks.

For Lincoln's Birthday in 2009: (not to be confused with President's Week):
It looks like the So. Cal schools will have off Monday, February 9, 2009. So that weekend of Saturday the 8th through Monday the 9th will be extrememely busy at Disneyland.

The next week of February 16th is President's week. I know that many schools back east have that whole week off. Which makes Disney World in Orlando very crowded. I am not sure how President's Week is in Disneyland as far as crowds go. But that previous week which has Lincoln's Birhtday is very busy at DL I know for a fact.
