Could you tell me approximately what size they were? I've made my own pages in the past that were just basically large tags (about 4 1/2 x 7 inches). I'd like to make Mickey Head shaped pages for our upcoming trip with my Cricut, but don't want to make anything that would be too difficult for the characters to sign.

Thank you so much for any help - or pictures would be nice too! :)

And - if you used your Cricut to make them, would you share the size you cut them at? Thanks again! :goodvibes

if you check under the creative designs forum, you will find alot of samples of autograph books made that are awesome. You might get some ideas there. The only thing i wonder is if bigger is better ;) , especially for characters with big hands, I know Cinderella does a large signature in our books.

disneyfan2 - thank you so much for your reply. There are some lovely autograph page samples on the creative design forums, aren't there? I was hoping to find something handmade - not with a printer, because I have a Canon printer and it just goes through ink like crazy.

Thanks for your help! :)

my tags have always been no smaller then 4x4. If you did a Mickey head (which btw is soooo cool!!!) I would make the face space 5 inches probably if that is where you want the characters to sign.

I think I may just have to steal your idea too.....:rolleyes1

I do guess the size would depend on which cricut you have too.

Luckily (maybe!) I have both Cricuts, so size isn't a problem. I'll have to see if my kiddos will let me play around today.

I'll share what I come up with -

Yay - I got to play! Right now I've just cut out 5" Mickey Head (from the Mickey Font cart) on my Expression, I was able to get four onto a 12x12 piece of paper (used my Design Studio to help with that).

I've cut them out of plain white paper. For now I'll leave them as is, but I think I'll have the characters sign them in different colored sharpies, ink the edges in a matching ink, and then make a cover and hook it together with a jump ring. Or, I may just put the autographs into our regular Disney album - have to see.

Oh those sound great..

quick question.. where can I find jump rings.. I always get distracted w/ the kids pulling things off to show me.. so I always leave w/o finding them..

i found my rings that i used at staples. i think i still have some nancy- how many do you need?

Yup - get my jump rings at Staples also, although sometimes Target has them.

Thanks!!! I'll check there this weekend when I go get ink.. again!

I don't know how many I need.. I know someone did a cool layout on here. somewhere.. I'll have to search for it again..but they used the jump rings to attach the split page protector to the full sheet page protector..
So, as you look at the page you see that it will open (like 2 =1/2 sheets of paper w/ lo on it)..than you open it up and you have the back of the 2- 1/2 sheets and the full sheet lo in between.. it opens like a book..) it was just too cute....

I use these, Staples has them in a few different sizes:
