? for those of you that have made a scrapbook album

I'm trying to make a small album for my upcoming Disney trip, but I'm having a problem with how to make the pages.

I covered cardboard with paper to make the front cover, spine, and back cover. I want to try and hook the pages inside the album with string or book binding glue, but can't figure out how to do this with the size of the album and the size of the paper I want to use.

The album is 7 x 7 1/2.

The paper is 8 1/2 x 11.

Have any of you made an album? Can you help me figure out how to do this?

Any help would be appreciated!

Well.... I'd love to help but I'm having trouble understanding what you have described. Obviously, as the paper is larger than the cover, the paper will need to be trimmed and/or folded. And if you are securing the pages directly inside the covers, can I assume you will not be using any kind of page protectors?

Anyhow..... on DIY Scrapbooking they are always making their own mini-albums. Their website should have some directions. I'll take a look and get back on that..................P

Sorry, should have explained myself better.

The previous alubm I made was smaller, so I just took paper and folded it in half. Where the fold was I attached it to the album cover using thread.

I don't want to do that with this album, because when I fold the paper in half, the pages of the album are smaller than I want them to be in relation to the album cover.

I'm trying to find out how I can attach two smaller pieces of paper together to make one long piece. Then fold that long piece in half, and attach the crease to the album making the album pages.

I've never done that before, so I didn't know if anyone here had made an album using pages that had to be attached together before being attached to the album.

Clear as mud, right? LOL!
