Check those prices! I found a big drop on the exact flight we wanted. Oddly though the decrease was only for a few flights and not across the board.
Also the decrease didn't happen out of the bigger airport just the smaller one.
Very very unusual compared to what I've encountered other years.

Thanks for posting. I'm hoping mine will come down too. We're flying United Airlines and I can't find any promo codes or discount codes anywhere. I signed up for their rewards program. Hopefully I'll get something in my email soon. Not traveling till March.

I don't understand why you find that odd. Airlines will change their prices based on seat availability. More seats available on a flight = price drops.

Anyone looking for airline seats should be checking prices at least every couple days, if not every day.

Why would you find it odd that I find it odd? Obviously what I've seen over the years is different than what you've seen which is when prices decrease in my venue they tend to decrease for all the flights, not just a few scattered here and there.

That's what happened this time. Out of all the flights on this route on this date only two flights went down AND it's the prime schedule, not some odd duck time of day. So yeah pretty unusual if you ask me.
