here's a little tip for whatever it may be worth....:confused3

We were just there from Sat to Wed...of those three days, I know that they were handing them out in front of Big Thunder Mountain railroad three of those mornings ~ just after park opening. We were lucky and got them on Sunday! There were two cast members waiting at the exit area of BTMR with stacks of them just handing them out. (On Sat I had asked a CM how the dream fast passes were handed out and she gave me the usual answer that several others gave as well which was that it was completely computerized and random...but it does seem odd that several people I know all got them in the same area a few days in a row at the same time!)

Were they in the exit so you had to have ridden BTMRR or just out in front so anyone could get them?

Well I have seen this before and so one of our mornings on my August trip I made sure to go to BTMRR at park opening. But they weren't handing them out? :confused3 So no guarantees. It was a Thursday. Oh well, I think I'll try again on my next trip. ;)

I think it does move around because we were there in February and we got them coming off pirates and so the next day we went on pirates first and no such luck but then we went on Pooh and they were giving them to people getting off pooh. We were actually heading to Splash but we saw them giving to people on Pooh so got in line but they stopped before we were able to get off the ride. So it DOES change daily and you actually have to be getting off the ride. And I saw a lady cheat too which I thought was not fair. She got in line and then got right back off the ride. And the rest of her family was still on and they told her if her family was seperated she could go to guest services and get passes for them. Well she cheated in my opinion because she never actually rode the ride. She got in it and then when they weren't looking stepped back out. But whatever. Kharma in my opinion! :)

I was there on Wednesday at 9:35am and we got them right as you enter Thunder Ranch from Fantasy Land. Right after you walk past Village Hause.

Nice pic!

Yes...we got some in that very location about a year ago. I believe the sign on the door behind the man in the blue hat says Cast Members Only -- and that's where we saw two Cast Members come out with black bags just like they lady pictured. I'm thinking it was about an hour after the park opened.

Another indicator if you are sitting over by the entrance to BTMRR is that you'll see a stream of people coming down the walkway to Fantasyland with the blue Dream Fast Pass badges on. But it probably only takes about 15 minutes to hand out all the passes ... so be alert.

From the replies it sounds like they tend to hang out in the general area of Frontierland down to Splash. I just wanted people to know that this is where we saw them this past Sun-Tues. I know they are also in other areas because I talked to someone who got hers at the Vinery in DCA but it does seem to be a first thing in the morning kind of event. I hope you all get them!

CandCMommy - I live in American Fork and have a 6 yr old son named Colby! It's not that common of a name around here - what a kwinkydink!
