For those of you at WDW marathon weekend...

Was there any mention of something special for the half next year since it will be the 15th anniversary? Just curious.

I didn't see anything mentioned other than the date of the weekend being in the runDisney booklet.

There will most likely be a commemorative medal but I doubt there will be anything else

I haven't heard of anything and since they didn't do anything special for #10, I doubt they will.

I kind of think they messed up on the 10th since few if any runners were a perfect 10.....

I bet they do tinker with Donnie on the 15th.



I did hear something about a relay in the full. I heard it third hand after attending the expo so do not know for sure. Sounds fun and like a good idea until you look at the fact that they already have a half on Saturday. I think that would mess up the weekend and unnecessarily over complicate the events. I am hoping that I heard incorrectly!

They mention a Marathon relay on the RunDisney.com site with a note of more infomation to come. Curious to see if it is a 2 person or 4 person or some other configuration.
