YES I am a HUGE Black Friday Shopper, one of my favorite days of the year actually. But I also find SUPER deals right now, and before the BIG DAY!

If anyone else is shopping now, and up until BF, please post any deals, or ideas here!

One of my personal favorites, is QVC (or HSN, but think it's QVC) has an ALL DAY Holiday show on the 25th of every month up to Christmas (Aug 25, Sep25, Oct 25 & Nov 25th) They have some great things on there, which I love.

I also find that Toys R Us is clearing out all their summer and promo toys to make room for the BF and Holiday items, I find AWESOME deals there until like October. Disney store is also clearing out and making room.

Just a few of my thoughts...please add yours!!

are you kidding you can never start Christmas shopping too early! Almost all of my shopping is done and wrapped! I did one gift each month it makes it much easier! Especially since we got married in March and I now have twice as many to buy for! This year has been a challange financially and this has helped soften the blow!

Nope I've started. I ordered those Disney MP3 players and camera that were on sale at Sears a while back. Saving that for xmas. I picked up a few Christmas decorations as well for gifts. They were at a local chocolate store back earlier this summer for 60% off and so cute! I like to decorate gifts with an ornament when I wrap them. I've really gotten serious about doing my research for gifts now. I wnt to get all the ones I need to send back home done by the middle of Oct so Kyle can bring them there with him when he goes on his guys trip and I won't have to ship!!!

I just got a super deal at ToysR Us that I tucked away for Christmas -- they have DS Lite consoles + an accessory + a game for 25% off...I ended up paying $131.23 for my combo!! Now, just waiting for the elusive American Girl free shipping code!

Me too! I've ordered great things on sale from Company Kids - personalized bath towels and tote bags. Since I have a big family and lots of friends, I start early that way I'm not overwhelmed and can stay organized! Glad to see there are fellow early Christmas shoppers out there! ENJOY

Me too! I started buying gifts in March. I hit up the clearance winter clothes racks before it's all pulled from the stores. They were 80-90% off. I have enough various sized neices and nephews that the sizes I buy are bound to fit somebody.

I also just bought a bunch of toys today at Kmart. Our store has clearance toys for 20% off!

I literally just started shopping today usually I'm much further along by now but we've had a lot of things going on so I'm just getting going. So my first purchase, I bought my neice an American Girl bath/body set for $15 - half off the original price.

I need to buy for 3 more people. We are going to Disney in Dec. and I want all my shopping done in the next week or so. My girls are older, and I want to hand them money to buy things that they really want while we are there. I will then bring home and wrap the stuff. LOL

I got them all pj's on clearance last year for Christmas Eve. We got my sons bikes a couple weeks ago when I got a TRU coupon and I've been watching Ebay and gotten a couple new Leapster games for around $10 incl. shipping (actually those are for their bday in Jan). I am now waiting for a good deal on the game dd wants for her psp. We are going to Disney in Jan for our family present, so all I have to worry about is Santa gifts this year!

I haven't though about the rest of the family, though... They are the hard ones!

I started Christmas shopping this weekend. Got two nephews done and my neice done. So that only leaves 5 more neices and nephews left.
I got some HSM stuff from LTD and got my two nephews a pair of jeans and two tshirts each from our Steve and Barrys store that is closing.

I have started! I don't have much but at least I started.
I ordered DD a pair of Uggs.
I was despesrate to get Wii Fit and I could only get it as a bundle so I pulled out the Wii Ski and will give that at Christmas.
I bought my friends DD a Northface jacket.
I bought Madden 09 for DS and have a preorder in for World Tour for Wii. I think that is what it is called.

It is not much, I still have a ton to do. I am checking daily for any bargains on the net.

I start right after Christmas at the 75% off sales, even better than Black Friday (though I consider it a holiday as well & am usually standing outside in a line somewhere by 4am ready to go ). I live in a small apt, but my mama has a huge full size basement & 1/2 I can store my holiday stuff in or I couldn't do this. Last year I lucked up on a bunch of big xmas inflatables 75% at Tarjay. I bought 2 large storage bins full of gift bags, bows, and wrapping paper. I think I got over 200 cute bags-I have a gift bag addiction... Me and dh have very large families, 48 total, another maybe 80 gifts including friends, neighbors, teachers, & classmates, good thing I'm obsessed with shopping for deals, lol. I think I have 4 bins of gifts from January plus 1 bin of kids gifts from the 80% KB Toys. I also have a couple bins of B&BW from June's semi-annual sale & a stack of razor gift sets from Tarjay's sale + coupon.

For current sales, today at Tarjay I got 3 ds games for $7.97 & 1 game (Lego Star Wars!) for $17.97. I always scan after there is a clearance sticker to see if there are more markdowns and I got lucky!

I'm currently looking for a 25th Anniversary Cabbage Patch doll on sale for dd.

I have started. My boys went camping this weekend so I was able to wrap those three gifts.
Bought my DS-11 two books on Marvel and DC comics. My DD-22 was looking at them and asked when I was giving them to him. I told her Christmas. If he gets them now we will never see him until he is done with the books!
Bought DS-14 a bank he wanted. It has a maze that you have to conquer before you can take your money out of it.

Not sure what else to get them or my DD. We may just give DD cash since she is still in college.

I bought a bunch of things for our cousin's daughters from disneyshopping clearance already. Nothing else but I need to get on it!

Last week I ordered from disneyshopping 3.99 beach towels and tees for my husband's cousins kids - yea - we shop for too many people!

I hit CVS end of season clearance and got playground balls for 17 cents, a sand beach chair for $1.50 (wish they had more!!) snorkeling equipment for 69 cents each, and some other stocking stuffers!

I dont really think about shopping this far ahead of time and I am glad I started -

AND I have a bad habit of setting a budget for each person - so let's say I say $20 on John - and I find a $20 item on an awesome sale for $7 - then I still go spend the other $13!!! This year - not happening if my budget is $20 they are getting a $20 value!!

YES!! That is what makes it so wonderful!! You can pick out any starter kit (w/headphones, car charger, sleeve) or just a cover (I got a Nerf armour cover to hopefully protect the DS forever!!) or even something for less, I guess for an accessory and any game. The Nerf was $14.99 and game was $29.99, but all games were eligible. Basically, it works out that the accessory and game are just about free w/purchase of the console, depending on the initial cost of the accessory/game.

DH found them on the back endcap in the electronics dept with other clearance stuff...and I just looked on my receipt, actually $7.48
