I went to the $5 and Below store last week and got most of ds(13) stocking stuffers, Redskins stuff. They even had the baseball bat amd tennis racket for wii for $5. UPS just delivered Wii Fit. Don't know exactly who will get it in the family, probably a family gift since we all need to get fit and we all use the Wii. Just keeping my eye out for the new Wii Guitar Hero game and wireless guitar.

I was in Target on Saturday and picked up several Nintendo DS games for $9.98 each. I was thrilled! The titles they had were- Enchanted, The Bee Movie, Left Brain/Right Brain, and Ratatouille. I love getting a good bargain!

I believe that it's called "House of Roses" but they do not have a web site. They sent us the catalog but most of the items were plated and not sterling. I called and spoke to the owner and she sent me some additional pages with sterling items. I'll try and take a picture of them and post them.

My DH got a gold plated tie-tack. He doesn't wear them often but when he does, he will be reminded of his mom.

These pictures look HUGE to me but I saved them as "small" on photobucket. What am I doing wrong?

I picked up some good stuff today that will be great for Christmas. First I went to dd's discounts. Its like a discount Ross store. In general, I got myself a pair of white sketchers for $8, a reuseable bag with rollers on the bottom (and pink skulls!!!) for $5 & a top for $3.50. For presents I got:

-Orange (different shades), black & white sheets for $8 (for DS. Our favorite sports teams are those colors)
-Bindi the Jungle Girl sheets for $6.50 (For DD. They're pink leopard print. She'll love them!)
-Picture frame $3 (For my niece who's moving away. I'm going to put a picture of us in it)

Then I hit Mardel (A Christian bookstore & teacher supply store). Several bookmarks 75% off (.12 each), a wall plaque for my FIL ($4) & a leather bracelet for DS ($2)

Now if I could just find some good Webkinz deals (animals or clothing)

Tinkerbelle32 - For what it is worth, I picked up Left Brain/Right Brain one time when I got it for $10. After playing it, I thought it was a waste of money. Maybe I didn't spend enough time with it but it looked like there were only a handful of activities. IMO It is the worst DS game we own. I'd recommend returning that and getting one of the Brain Age games instead, they are much more fun for around $20. Hope this helps.

I picked up DD the Polaroid Digital camera at target that is on clearance for $19.99. I figured if it does not work very well no big deal she is only 4 but it came with software and USB cables. I also picked up my boys some t-shirts and boxers on clearance as well. They love to wear them as PJ's. I also got my mom some cute slippers at Bath and Body works plus there is a coupon out there that if you buy something you get a 2oz lotion for free so I got that too. I have a lot more bought for my kids that I got in July when Target had their summer clearance. I only have to get each kid a new bike, one ds wants the lego castle - $99.99 YIKES I don't think I will get a good deal on that and my other son is not sure what he wants yet. We are also getting dd the Leapster Tag system. I need to get to Target this week because the books are on sale for $9.99. So I am getting there but I don't think I will be done until late Nov early Dec. even though I started in JULY.

Well, I started shopping for my kids, that's my biggest expense. So far I have:

Lego Batman for Wii: $42 from Buy.com
Power Wheels ATV: $159 w/ free shipping
My Life toy thingy: about $53, regularly $60

that's it besides some stocking stuffers I've been picking up.

The Wii games were on a local new station's site- they have a classified section that rivals any I have seen. A grandmother bought them for her grandchildren thinking they had a Wii but they have an X Box. She didn't want to deal with returning them so she sold them cheap. They are brand new, in the wrapper.


The LPS were single but came with a small accessory.
