...how about a game of make believe?
My DH and I arrive at MCO about 10AM. We are met by Johnny from Magic City Transportation who whisks us away to the Portofino Bay in his shiny black Town Car. We arrive about 10:30 and to our happy surprise, not only are we upgraded to a Portofino Suite with a balcony overlooking the bay, but our rooms are ready! We check out our digs and decide on an early lunch at Margaritaville (we are pretty hungry due to getting up early to make a 7:30AM flight).
At Margaritaville I have the fish sandwich of the day--blackened with fries and DH has, what else, the Cheeseburger in Paradise with a cold draft beer (he always gives me his big kosher pickle). Though it is way early for the band, we are at a small table by the stage--the perfect spot to people watch and to soak up the atmosphere. The Buffet tunes are setting the stage for our little get-away. We even get to see the volcano "blow" before our lunch is finished. We remember to use our AP to get a discount on our lunch.
After a tour of the giftshop we are set to go. But which way? IOA or US? Decisions, decisions! Vacations sure are rough! How about we meet up with your family and you let us know what we are doing for the afternoon?
