I have a Travelocity credit card. I have always wanted a miles credit card, but I refuse to pay the yearly fee. It doesn't make sense for us when we only fly twice a year. It's cheaper for me to just buy the tickets instead of worrying about the credit card also. In addition you have to spend a ton of money on your credit card to get a free ticket. So here's what I found instead with Travelocity:
Earn unlimited travel points
Redeem online for discounted and free travel for air, car, cruise and hotel purchases with no restrictions or blackouts
Get 4,000 points FREE after you make your first purchase or balance transfer with your new Travelocity.com World MasterCard
Get 1 reward point for every $1 of net purchases
Get 3 reward points for each $1 of net finance charges
Accumulate as few as 8,000 points, and receive a reward certificate good for $100 off air, car, cruise and hotel purchases redeemed through Travelocity.com
Our intrest rate is 14.99%. That is a little higher than I would like, but it's not bad. We use this as our gas credit card and we try and pay it off at the end of the month, but sometimes it doesn't happen.
So far, we are very very happy with it.
