Double check when you take your supplies on the plane with you--to either verify if you can bring those gel products...or to just pack them safely in your luggage.

They are a gel and I think they may not be considered a toiletry and would have to be tossed at security possibly.

I flew into MCO 2 weeks ago and I had some gel in my carryon. Nothing was said. However, like Lisa mentioned, that might not always be the case.

And if you carry it on and they take it don't worry Clif and Power are both going to be at the Expo :) I'm packing my gel in my check luggage.

Can't wait to shop the Expo!!!! I don't see Bare Nekked (might have the spelling wrong) on the Expo vendor list but they were at DL and they are pretty tasty just in case they are there and have samples again.

Lisa thanks for the reminder! DH and I were just going through the what I can put in the carry on and I ended up putting gels in checked.

Actually, you can now carry on gels and liquids (I think this changed in November or early December), they just have to each be less than 3 oz, and they all must fit within a single small ziploc bag. Really a pain for things like shaving cream and toothpaste though, unless you find travel sizes. Be sure to bring your own bag though, not all airports have them, and if you don't get one they force you to check your bag or toss your gels and liquids.

I travel a lot for business, and this is a real pain.

GEEZ - thanks never even gave it a thought

We flew in this weekend and I put my clif blocks, GU and sports beans in the 1 quart ziploc and carried on. Had no trouble. See ya soon!

I always pop an extra quart sized ziploc in my carry-on bag. There's always someone who needs one and boy are they forever grateful! :wizard:
