My friend sent me this. I was rolling on the floor laughing. SO true!
The week in weather:

Wednesday in New York : Rain. Heavy at times. Followed by periods of precipitation.

Thursday : Lingering showers throughout the day. Chance of rain 800 percent.

Friday : Moist. Damp. Sodden.

Saturday : Rainish. Showery. Precipitacious.

Sunday : Light rain followed by heavy rain followed by pouring.

Monday : Unseasonably rainy in the morning. Uncharitably rainy in the
afternoon. Unconscionably rainy in the evening.

Tuesday : Endless showers broken up by occasional flooding.

Wednesday : Remember "Waterworld"? Like that, only with more rain.

Thursday : Not sunny. The opposite of sunny. Just forget about sunny, O.K.?

Friday : Clearing just long enough for you to make weekend plans. Followed by
obscene amounts of rain.

Saturday : Take a wild guess.

Sunday : Incessant, spirit-crushing rain. The kind of rain that makes it
futile to get out of bed in the morning. The kind of rain that seems as if it
will never end. And guess what? It never will. Ever. Do you understand?

Monday : Please go away.

Tuesday : Ample, brilliant sunshine throughout the day. Wait ? did I say
sunshine? I meant rain. Really hard rain.

Sad, but here's what they really are saying:

Tuesday : Considerable cloudiness. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High around 85F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday night : Cloudy intervals. Low 69F. Winds light and variable.

Wednesday : Considerable cloudiness. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 87F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday night : A few clouds from time to time. Low near 70F. Winds light and variable.

Thursday (24 hours) : Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s.

Friday (24 hours) : Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s.

Saturday (24 hours) : Slight chance of a thunderstorm. Highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s.

Now you know what I go through with winters here in Oregon! :teeth:

OK...so, when do we start building the Ark!!!

Thats strange. I looked on weather.com and it said rain only one day here! So, I'm not sure really, but they said we only had 14 days of sunshine in the past 3 months! Pathetic is what I can tell you.

But when I went outside today I noticed this large orange circle in the sky, the news said it was the sun. It's been a long time.

You're lucky!!! It'll be nice if we see steady sun by Thursday. Around here it looks like we've been turned into the largest disco on the planet!

Overcast with drizzle off and on here.....actually looks like some pretty heavy storms possibly later tonight if they hold together...and I wanted to lay out today:(

And when the sun finally comes out, you cant go in the ocean because the water is so cold this summer here in NJ. The water is barely in the low 60's the last time I checked.

If our storms go left, they'll hit you, if they go right, they'll hit NJ. :p

I was up there this weekend and Mom marveled at the sunshine Sunday morning, brief as it were. Sorry that it left when I did!

Sun was out when I left work tonight - so of course I put the top down on the car :D

About half way home it got cloudy - no big deal:(

Just made it home to put the top up in light drizzle :(

LOL that is so true! I got back from WDW a week and a half ago, and it's been cloudy and rainy every single day since then.

It's so foggy I can't even see across the street. I dislike fog.

Just last night I was talking to my partner about the weather. I am so sick of precipitation of any kind. This past winter, the entire city was a frozen tundra of snow and sleet for months and torrential rain virtually every day the past couple of months. It's almost as of the earth slipped on its axis and put us in Siberia, then changed it's mind and said, nah, let's mess with them and move NYC to Ocala, FL instead. Geesh...

Can't help but look up at the sky and think, "Boy, somebody really ticked off God!"
