we are moving in a month and I am looking for a new OB/GYN. shhh...just found out I'm pregnant again. (hope my mom and sisters don't frequent this site...not telling anyone till next week). I will most likely deliver in St. Peters because I want to VBAC and they seem to be the only hospital in the area who will allow it. Do you love your OB, or know somebody who does?

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. whether for dr.s, practices, or even if you had your baby at St. Peters I'd love to hear what its like there. I had my son 18 months ago in Boston and its so hard giving up my dr. and hospital that I love, but guess I'd better...that could be a long drive! :)

TIA!

Congratulations! for both the baby-to-be and the move.

As far as OBs and hospitals, I'm afraid I can't help much as both my babies were born in Glens Falls and I still see the doctors there. I know Glens Falls and Saratoga hospitals don't allow VBAC, something about new state guidelines for having an anesthesiologist *at* the hospital, not just on call.

Have you looked into Bellevue hospital in Niskayuna? http://www.bellevuewoman.org/ My friends who live in the immediate Albany area seem to like it.
