Do you guys go into a "Disney mode" the week you leave? We leave next Saturday and today I caught myself several times times about weird things ... in grocery store telling dh we wouldn't be back in the grocery store until we got back from wdw, was there ANYTHING else he needed (he is sooooo bad about telling me that day he needs stuff for lunches,etc ... worse than kid). Does anyone else go into panic/anxious/ready to walk out door mode?

(Maybe I am just losing it ... lol! )

For some dumb reason I decided to paint my bathroom this weekend, how stupid is that when I leave for WDW in 3 days? I guess my reasoning was that when I come home depressed at least I'll have a freshly painted bathroom!

I would be in "Disney mode" if not for the fact that I have two very large proposals to get a lot written on before we leave on Sunday!! That should keep me busy and the days passing quickly before we leave on Sunday.

Well I sent DH out to do yard work for two hours and told him I would pack. Made him bring up the suitcases and everything. He left I was in front of the computer. He came back in, same lifeless, zoned out woman in front of the computer. I told him I was ironing out the last details. Yeah right. Seems like the more I have to do in life the less I get done!

Now that I have two weeks I'm starting to get in Disney mode. I've been making a list of all the last minute things I need to buy and things I have to do.

Yes, I find myself spending crazy amounts of time on the Dis. I was extremely happy when I looked at my calendar for work this week and saw that I have at least 3 hours (or more) worth of meetings each day this week. It'll stink, but the days will go fast!

Oh GOD yes, I'm in total Disney mode!!! Even just staring at my countdown makes me elated!! Tomorrow's my last Sunday (day off) before we leave for Disney on Friday. I just can't wait!!!
In fact, I've even made a to do list for every day until our trip

I am single digit dancing too ! Our first trip so I am very excited. We have been doing a countdown on a calendar since day 45. I too say next week at this time we will be .... ( fill in the blank). I have just washed my summer stuff I want to take with me to disney. I have a few things to pick up tomorrow and then I am done. I will pack daughters stuff tomorrow too. We have a busy week at least tues and wed is really busy dont want to be running around last minute to get stuff. I am sure I will forget something but trying not to.
I called disney today to verify all my ps and my room reservation, so that is done. I find I am spending a lot of time on the disboards I guess just any last minute things I can learn. I also have a co-worker printing out my itinerary for me and printing stuff off steve soares website for me and touring plans... wow I feel like we are really getting there. My parents kept promising me as a child we would go and then something came up . I cant believe I will be in disney next Sunday !

I'm definitely in Disney mode! Actually, I have been for months.

I checked the minivan over today to make sure we're ready to hit the road.

I'm going thru my various checklists. Our DS22 won't be going with us this time, so I've got a list of things he has to do at the house while we're gone such as feed the dogs & cat, always lock the doors when he leaves and NO PARTIES.

I'm making sure we have everything we need as far as clothers & toiletries go.

I'll be going to the bank Fri to get traveller's checks.

All this, and I'm at work right now (Sat, 11:21PM CDT) finishing up some code changes for a software load we have next weekend.

But I'm definitely excited. So is my DD5. I think my DW is finally getting excited.

Yep! DW is talking about "using stuff up in the 'fridge", and we're planning an ATM visit for vacation $$$.

I went to the bank today to exchange canadian money to us. I also said to hubbie dont buy too much food when you do the grocery shopping , remember we are going away next week. lol
