Where the heck can I find the list of songs that play on Main Street???!!! By songs I mean the continuous soundtrack that plays over the loudspeakers....

There was one super catchy song - I have literally been humming, whistling, making up words, etc for the past month. It is strangely familiar, and must be from a Disney movie because when I heard it I just had to smile. I googled but nothing came except you tube videos of the dapper dans and whatnot.

Help me Disney Geeks.... You're my only hope :goodvibes

Well, I know that Mousewait radio has some songs from main street. I don't know if that is all the songs though...

It's possible that the catchy song is "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" from the musical Hello Dolly. That song is played at the beginning of WALL-E and is also heard on Main Street.

That's the one I thought of as well. Possibly could be "Surrey With the Fringe On Top" from Oklahoma. Also known as the song Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan sing karaoke to in When Harry Met Sally.

I'm sorry, but you're going to have to record yourself humming, whistling or making up words (preferably making up words!) and put it online for us to hear. I'm SURE if you do that someone here will recognize it immediately! :mic:

I've also heard "Elegance" from the same musical. Anyone know if they played Hello, Dolly! songs on Main St. before Wall-E?

THAT'S IT!!!!!

I knew someone here would know! Downloading in iTunes now :thumbsup2

And I actually did try humming the song into the Shazam app on my iPhone to see if it could recognize it. Talk about things you hope no one will see you doing :goodvibes

And now I'm off to check out the other music links... Anything to delay getting ready for work!

The Main Street Loop also contains some Sherman Brothers songs from the Hayley Mill's movie "Summer Magic"

I love Wall-E and Hello Dolly, so I was very very happy to hear that when I went last year. I don't remember hearing it when I was a kid (but I could have not been paying much attention. :D)

Go down to Disneyland and you'll see the music loop that is played on Mainstreet :goodvibes

Not certain when they started, but they've apparently had those songs since at least 2006 (WALL-E was 2008 if I recall correctly). I'd imagine they were part of the loop for quite some time before then, too. I feel like the song at Disneyland dates back to my earliest trips in the 1990s, but I really can't swear to it.
