Ok, well, here's MY dillemma:

I have a home-made computer and I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me some insight here.

I have a relatively new motherboard with an AMD Athlon XP 1900+ actually running at 1.65 Ghz (was 1.16 until I overclocked it but that's not the prob.) Now I know I need tp upgrade to ddr memory, but for now I'm running 192 megabytes of pc-133 but the thing is almost all of my apps are only showing 162 megs of memory. I only have 2 programs that actually show all 192 megs, adobe photoshop & my spyware program. I thought it was the overclocking so I dropped it all the way down but still nothing. I'm thinking a few bad memory modules. what do you guys think?

How much memory does it show when you're booting up or in the setup module? If you have bad chips on your memory card, it will be reflected in both places.

In my BIOS it shows 192.... strange isn't it?
