for the homebound New Englanders what time is the party on Christmas Day?

Im sure there will be plenty for DH, DS10.5 and I to do on Christmas Day even if our company cant make it due to the storm. And the parade is on at 11am!
We have lots of new DVDs and PS2 games under the tree to keep us occupied.
Just told my men that we will all be going out to shovel as a family and maybe a snowball fight.
But what time does everyone think they can check in for a CB Christmas gathering?

We'll have lots of turkey since we have a 19.5lb for just the 3 of us if the other 3 cant make it. Im currently making 2 breads and brownies, have a jubilee roll in the freezer. What will you be bringing?

Nope- we plan to do nothing but be together at home and feast, feast, feast on rare roast beast! The storm will just make it cozier! Happy Christmas!

THE WINTER STORM WATCH INCLUDES SOUTHWEST NEW HAMPSHIRE...NORTHERN CONNECTICUT...AND ALL OF MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND EXCEPT SOUTH COASTAL LOCATIONS...CAPE COD AND THE ISLANDS.

THE PRECIPITATION IS LIKELY TO STAY ALL SNOW ACROSS INTERIOR SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND. I won't be changing any plans because of a prediction. The weather people gave themselves an "out" with that last sentence. Christmas will be as planned.

The weatherpeople still don't know how the storm (actually storms) is going to affect New England yet.

I'm not cancelling Christmas. Their worst estimate for the storm is no worse than the other 2 major storms we've had in the past month. You just need to drive slow, and defensively.

The only change I'm making is to eat earlier in the day because DH will have to go out plowing. all our company is local, so they are all still coming. Standing rib roast for 11, Le Cellier Cheddar cheese soup, green beens with macadamia nuts, parmesan mashed potatoes, and a most excellent triple chocolate peppermint cake (oh, and MIL's 1/2 gallon of ice cream ) I made tons of gingerbread cookies- hopefully the kids won't eat them all before tomorrow!
