For the folks that got the Visa gift cards?? I have questions.

Okay we got ours weeks ago. I just activated it today and it says we can change our Pin but it also says there might be a fee associtated with doing that. The paperwork also said there might be fees charged with certain purchases. So has anyone used their card and did you have fees added for doing certain transactions??? Thanks

I was a little concerned with some of the past posts about fee charges associated with these cards. So, I took my gift card to my local Disney Store and added it on to my Disney gift card! The entire $500 went right on to the card. No fees.

After many calls we just got our card last week. It was somewhat of a mess. They said they would send it various times but it never came. If you are expecting a card and haven't received it keep calling.

Shortly after your closing date, the actual date not the one estimated when you signed the papers, my add on closed on 10/10 and the card was delivered on 11/3

We received both of our Visa gift cards about 3 weeks after our recent add-on. We have already used them during our DP stay at SSR. We used them to pay for all the expenses we had charged back to the room. They work just like a credit card and we weren't charged any fees using them at the front desk.

Oh that makes me feel good. I was going to call them to ask what those fees are.

No pin needed when making a purchase. Just hand them the card like any regular credit card. Couldn't have been easier. Now I don't have to carry two cards around the world!

I got my VISA gift card a few weeks after closing. Ended up using it as a deposit for a cruise in January. So, other than activating the card, there was no need to use the PIN after that.

When I was on my honeymoon this past June we had a honeymoon gift card, but were going back in October and I think it would be easiest for my sister to have a giftcard with her money on it rather than cash only I don't know where I can get her one.

This thread is about a Visa Gift Card that comes with the purchase of an Animal Kingdom Villas timeshare.
Your sister needs a Disney Gift Card which can be purchased at any Disney Store in your local mall. They're great to have. You can use them at the carts in the parks, so that you're not always searching for a couple of dollars. And you can use them in the hotels and restaurants. I load mine up between trips. That way I'm paid up in advance. Just keep the receipts so that you always know what the balance is.
