Just got here!!! Got upgraded to a cars suite!! I cried. Caden fell asleep on the bus and he's still out so he hasn't seen it yet!!! I'm on my way to HS to try and do early ticket pick up!!

On a side note, you may just want to swing by the desk/concierge and casually mention how much you love the Cars suite and how much would it be to switch your reservation to that for the rest of the trip? Just in case there's more pixie dust, as happened to us the Club Level time at the Poly. And, if not, eh - you're still in WDW.

What happened to us was that we had a 40% off Poly rate for Standard/Garden View - something like that - this was back Dec. 2010, by the way. We ended up getting a Club Level upgrade (no extra cost). We had a split stay with Poly, then Coronado Springs for like 4 more nights? We asked the concierge how much it would be to keep our Poly Club and drop Coronado. They gave us the same 40% off Standard Poly room rate for the rest of the trip. So, more than Coronado would have been, but a fantastic deal for Poly Club. Then again, that may well have been a fluke pile of pixie dust, but can't hurt to ask. Just be sure to phrase it in a "just curious, how much would it be to upgrade?" way vs. a "hey, can you give us freebies?" sort of way, if you know what I mean.

No matter what, enjoy the heck out of that suite tonight!

That's incredible!! I'm with Dugette. Definitely ask about it. If it doesn't work, you still have this amazing bit of magic. Fingers crossed for more pixie dust. Hope you share Caden's reaction!

Well no luck on the continued upgrade. She just gave me the price. But that's ok. We've LOVED being in the room tonight!!

Caden woke up while I wasn't in the room so his reaction was totally lame, he just started asking where I was. Lol

But when I came back I showed him stuff like the Mater murphy's bed (where he would be sleeping) and mcqueen on the shower curtain and then we visited all the giant characters around our section of the resort. He LOVED it!! And then this evening when we got back he wanted pics with doc and sherif and was bouncing off the walls in our room. I'm so happy this happened!! Especially after a frustrating trip in. Nothing drastic, but it wasn't all that smooth and I was pretty fried by the time we got here. That upgrade made me forget it all

Bedtime now! EPCOT in the morning!!

I have to say, both of us are a little happy that we're still going over to Pop. It just feels like Disney world to us and we're looking forward to getting over there tomorrow night

Too bad you can't stay! But I agree... I loved Pop my last 2 trips! I'm sure Caden will too with all the big characters around! He'll have fun looking at it all!

I haven't forgotten you all. And I'm going to do a trip report!

However, every year I do a photobook of our year and every year I buy a voucher to pay for it from groupon. Well this year my voucher expires on feb 17th and guess how much of the photobook I've started? YEAH none of it! AHHHHHHH!!!!

So I gotta make my yearly photobook before I loose the $100 value of my voucher. (I paid like $30 for $100 of credit and that would be no fun to loose!)

So once I'm done with that, I'll be here to start the trip report.

We had a rough start to the trip with caden and this was the moment when our trip turned around and it all clicked with Caden. From this point on he loved Disney world!
