FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER...I'm NOT GOING HOME!! UPDATE DEC.30 PG 74

We were basically done with this park for the day so we headed to Epcot!

We walked outside to the boat dock and were entertained by fish and turtle while we waited.



Only in Disney do the animals put on shows too!

We hopped on a boat and headed to the Yacht and Beach club stop



It is so pretty!

We hopped off and walked through the International Gateway



We were on a mission though and headed to Epcot!




We were headed to a little hole in the wall known as La Cava! We love it there!

We ordered the trio sampler



This was sooo good!

I had a drunken cucumber and dad had a tequila flight





We both really enjoyed ours! I had texted Danielle aka IheartDDuck a picture of my drink because of her drunken cucumber TR. It turned out her and her family were headed to Epcot as well so we were going to meet up and say hi!



DISmeet count: 4!

I just want to let you all know Danielle and her family are just as awesome in person as they on their TRs! We really enjoyed spending time with them and this wasn't the last time we would meet up with them! Thank you Danielle and parents for spending time with us on your vacation!

We talked about usual Midwestern stuff like weather and football then let them go to get some food! We had plans to meet up later that night though!

Our plan for the day was to snack around the world and snack I did!



These were candy covered strawberries and they were amazing!!!

We also checked out the topiaries again



and I got my must have



Frushi! This is also really good!

Next was France for my macaroon and a slushie but unfortunately the slushies only have gluten alcohol in them so I ended up with champagne and the macaroon

Both were amazing! This was a great snack!

Mom and dad set out on a mission for the ice cream brioche sandwich





They loved it!!!!! I kept hearing them talk about it for the rest of the trip!

Once our tummies were full again we headed back to the front of the park. We had yet to check out the butterfly garden!





It was gorgeous! We headed out of the park after this to get ready for the night and take a nap!

We all freshened up and headed out! We were taking a bus to DHS and were going to see Obi Wan and Beyond with James Arnold Taylor. We weren't sure what to expect but we all ended up loving it!



It is all about his life as a voice actor and was very interesting and uplifting! I didn't realize just how many voices he is responsible for so it was very cool!



He had a ton of energy and we all left happy with our choice! This was our only thing to do here and we headed out of the park. We headed to Boardwalk Bakery for some dinner because it was over where our DISmeet was planned.

I just want to say I love the Boardwalk Baker for gluten free food! They had pre made sandwiches so it was quick and easy! I just grabbed my sandwich and some babycake bites and was done before mom and dad before they got their food!


It was good too!


At this point we texted Danielle and her family and headed over to our DISmeet location... JELLYROLLS!!! My favorite bar on property! Tonight my piano player Matt was performing so that made everything better! Soon after we got there Danielle and her parents did and we all got drinks and talked. Danielle was so sweet and brought gifts for my mom and I! I got a Jasmine pocket mirror and mom got an Ariel one! Thank you again Daniell! This was just a fun night and after a while Mary Ellen and Cynthia showed up too! We all had a great time together singing, talking and drinking! By the end Danielle told me she understood why I was in love with Matt

All good things must come to an end though and we headed back to the resort for some shut eye!

Friday sounds like it was a great day! I think meeting Dis members makes the trip more fun. It is nice to share Disney experiences with people who are experiencing them at the same time as you are.

It is a pretty cool experience even for non Star Wars fans! It's cool being able to see everyone dressed up and excited!

May 16 The One Where I Take Way Too Many Pics of a Parade!

This morning we were up early to head to Epcot



We were there for opening but had to keep switching lines because the MBs werent working at the MLUB. It seems like getting in, in the morning takes a lot longer now!

Our first ride we were headed to was



I am not a huge fan of the layout now and feel like the line is longer now that you have to make a car. I am sure it is cool to car people though and my dad did enjoy it!





This was my dad's first time on it since the reno so we let him make the car.



Yep his was ugly too!

When we finally got to the front of the line I scanned my MB since his car was on it.



My mom also scanned hers even though there wasn't a car on it. It turns out Disney will create a car for you so you can still have one without having to go through the hassle of making it

We enjoyed the ride and dad said he liked the new one way better than the old one... *cough traitor cough*

Mom and I then let him drool over all of the cars



A new item for sale at SWW are car wraps with different Star Wars things on them



I am planning on getting the Millennium Falcon for my car

We headed out in the sunshine to explore the rest of the park





I just love all the bright colors this time of year brings!



It was now time for our coffee break!



I got a light coffee frappucino which is my favorite summertime drink!

We took our coffees to Nemo and unfortunately could not take them on the ride so we downed them and headed in.

Nemo was cute as always and I mean who could get sick of "Big Blue World"?!

When we got off the ride the manatees were out so we went to watch them eat! Yes only in Disney can you be like "Oh that animal is eating how interesting!!!"



It was really cool because I had never seen them out before!



After we had decided fish are friends not food we headed to Figment. We always love this ride!

It was almost time to head to lunch so we headed over to Mouse Gears. I bought one of the new Pixar vinyls and got



Boo and little Mikey!!

We then went to the convention center to roam around before we left for lunch.



We walked around a bit and I saw that they cafe there had the caprese push pops which I had been wanting to try and they had Strongbow Cider! Strongbow is one of my favorites because it isn't as sweet as other ciders and has more of a dry taste to it. I bought one for me and a beer for dad and three push pops for all of us. The push pops were amazing!!!!! It was like a caprese salad but way smaller!

We were walking out of the pavilion and ran in to Danielle and her parents again! This time we were twinning and didn't even plan it



Considering how many Disney tank tops and t shirts her and I own this really was a crazy coincidence! We chatted with them for a bit but had to run to the bus stop to get to lunch so we didn't chat long.

Our lunch today was at



The Wilderness Lodge! We would be eating at



Mom and I really enjoyed our meal here in November so we had to go again!

We had some time to kill before our ADR so we took pictures of the resort.



I know a lot of people compare this to the Grand Californian in DL but there really aren't that many similarities between them. Once you see them in person the Grand Californian is much more sleek and modern than WL is.






Finally we were seated for lunch! The first item we had to order was this baby



The Whiskey Shake I had in November! Dad and I decided to split one because I couldn't drink it all in November.

For our food we ordered the skillet



I had my own brought out that didn't have any BBQ sauce on it.



The chicken was really good and so were the ribs. The pulled pork did not taste good on mine because it was dry.

Dad ordered the new molten cake for dessert



I got cheesecake



Which was amazing!!!

Mom got the Apple Pie which she loved as well!



Dad had to take care of some work so mom and I roamed the resort while we waited.







It is so beautiful! Once dad was done we headed to the boat dock to head to MK



It was very busy when we arrived but we were able to find a nice spot for the parade with a view of the Castle. We struck up a convo with one of the FP+ CMs and started talking about the DCP. He told me that I would most likely be in DHS or MK because the fill up the busier parks before placing people elsewhere. He also said if he could have used his phone he could have called and found out where I was. Does he end up being correct on the park part? Stay tuned!!!!!

I also had the pleasure of meeting Joanna71985 while waiting for the parade!

We waited quite a while in the hot sun before the parade finally started!



We had a mother of one of the high schoolers doing the parade near us and she seemed so excited it was adorable!

After the pre-parade we had the Grand Marshals arrive!





The girl on the right looked like she had practiced her princess wave for years for this moment She was also calling out to her subjects and wishing them a happy anniversary or birthday.

Finally it was time to see the new parade! I had been trying to stay away from pics of it so I would be surprised so I was very anxious!



It starts off with my favorite couple!



The new costumes look cool but uncomfortable

The didn't switch around to them until the were further down the route instead we had to look at Naveen and Tiana

But Disney is like well we have to put something nice and friendly at the end since the dragon is scary.
