FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER...I'm NOT GOING HOME!! UPDATE DEC.30 PG 74

Your Rebel Rendezvous day sounded perfect! So glad you had a good time! I know you've been looking forward to it so much!

Thanks for sharing your DCP fun with us!

I wasn't sure since it was a Yorkie and they had a carrier with it? I usually see bigger dogs as helper dogs. I love my three dogs but Idk if I would want to stay at a pet hotel :rotfl: Vacation is busy enough without having to walk my dogs every morning :faint:

I think they can be used as service dogs for things like anxiety disorders. And I don't think it even needs to be a dog... I think other animals can be considered service animals in those situations.

Droooooling over all the Star Wars swag. Donald in carbonite in pretty sweet! I'm pretty sure I'd wind up completely overwhelmed with all those choices!

And I'm rolling my eyes at needing a boyfriend to watch SW. I can out-Star Wars ANY male I know!

OMG that window is AWESOME!!!!!!!!

I think it's so great that a big fan like yourself got to the front of the line. That matters to me. Plus... Darth Mall... how can you not love that?

I can't wait until "Star Wars Weekends" is a 365 day affair!!!

Ah so cool to have your first (of many) DISmeet of the trip so soon. Good on you for saying hi. DIS people are seriously the best.

OK, super glad you got the Darkside and not the Force, just because. :darth:

Caitlin, I'm so impressed with your dedication to continuing updates while you're still on the trip portion of your DCP and with your folks. It's so fun to see the pics on FB and then to have everything filled in on here. :goodvibes

All caught up!

I can't believe the guy who told you you were a sucker to buy magic band stuff.
I wonder what he spends his money on?
You collect stamps? You're a sucker for buying that stuff! :sad2:
Go away.

As for the Yorkie.
I can't see it as being a service dog, but I could be wrong.
It doesn't bother me that it was in the lobby.
In a room would, though, since people do have allergies.
But in the lobby?
Nah.

Heck, go to Europe and you'll see them in stores all the time.
I'll never forget walking through a large department store in Germany.
Strolling down the aisle...
Looking at the goose down comforters...
Looking at the fancy beer steins...
Stepping over the sleeping basset hound...
Buying some chocolate...

You know, typical stuff.

You don't need a man to see Star Wars.... but it wouldn't hurt, either. :rolleyes1:

Hey it does sound like VIP!

How much was that 'frozen in carbonite Donald'?
I might've sprung for that. Pretty cool.

Thanks for keeping us updated! :goodvibes

Congratulations on your acceptance into the College Program!! What a dream come true for a super fan!! I am looking forward to following along with your adventures!!

Love your room window! I bet people enjoyed walking by and seeing that big poster! :)

Sounds like an awesome day all around! :thumbsup2 That's awesome you were the first one to shop Darth's Mall this year... definitely a die hard Star Wars fan!

Yay for already having your 1st DIS meet!

Awesome updates!!!
SO MUCH STAR WARS!! Lol. awesome that you got so much stuff too!!

I think you are doing a great job keeping as up to date with this TR - I know it is not easy!

Glad you found some neat stuff you wanted and the Death Star glow cube us awesome.

So right how Disney must have made a ton. I mean people paid money so that they could wait an hour in line to spend more money! Your credentials are cool though!

Congrats on the first of (I am sure) many DISmeets!

Thanks for posting so many pictures of the Star Wars event. I've never heard of it before discovering the Dis. Where is this located in HS? It looks really cool!

No problem!

It is located in Stage 1 which is in between the Backlot Express and Toy Story Mania. They also have some special events there.

We've met so many DIS friends in the parks and out here in the real world, and every one of them have been quite normal ;) and so nice - just fun, down-to-earth people. Even though we are from many different walks of life, extremely varying lifestyles, incomes, locations, political views, religions, etc., our love of Disney things has given us the opportunity to meet each other and make our life experiences more diverse. I don't think you have to worry about anyone thinking you are a stalker. I'm guessing you will be welcomed warmly any time you approach a DIS/FB Disney friend.

I have met a few as well and they are soo nice!

I am glad I don't have to worry about that :rotfl2:

I think I will be too!

We have a friend from church who is hoping to do CP in the fall. She'll be a good one. She's a cute, happy, Disney-lovin' girl with such a sweet personality. I hope she gets to have that experience. ::yes::

I know nothing about Star Wars, but I think it's fun to watch people enjoying the SWW fun. I like Star Tours as a ride, but I don't ever know what kind of mission we're on or who the characters are or the places we go on the screen. I just think it's a fun ride. That's how I am putting the Avatar stuff in perspective. I may know nothing about it, but I can still enjoy the ride. Now, Great Movie Ride - that I know about. That's old school, like me.

I will be crossing my fingers for her!

My mom isn't as in to it as my dad and I are but she tries for us  Idk how I feel about Avatar and I have seen the movie! I do love GMR though!

It was! I am happy with how it turned out!

No problem!

Interesting.

It was intense! I was very overwhelmed!

Same here!

It sounds like your trip is going fabulously! :thumbsup2

It is!

Thank you!

It was very nice! I know a very clever play on words! It reminds of the Big Bang Theory Star Wars episode!

Me neither!

They are! It was a great first meet!

:rotfl: I can't drink the Force because it has Grey Goose which has gluten in it :worried:

Thank you! I am really trying my best! I am glad that they compliment each other! I am always afraid people will get sick of the TR if they see all of the pictures on Facebook prior!

Nah.

I have no clue. I agree it would become a bit of a problem with all of the dander and everything if someone was allergic and checked in after them. That's very interesting about Europe! I never would have thought about that!

I know!

It was $95 which is a bit expensive in my book!

No problem!

I can't even fathom how much money they made!

Thanks it was a lot of fun!

I got back to the room, changed and headed back out with mom and dad. We all decided to go back to DHS before we headed to our dinner reservation. I really wanted to meet Ashley Eckstein, voice of a character on Clone Wars and creator of Her Universe, unfortunately her line was ridiculous so I just took a stalk photo of her :rotfl:

There was no line for the Fab Five so I went over and got my photo taken with them

After I was done I had a FP+ for TSM so mom and dad goofed around while I went on the ride

I have discovered this trip that I am awesome when I am solo!

Once we met back up I was sent back inside

to get a Darth Vader popcorn bucket and a Storm Trooper stein! They are very cool looking!

We decided to walk around the park a bit and saw a wanted sign!

My parents and I enjoy saying "Your name space bar space bar space bar my name" in our best "Constantine" voice :rotfl2: Dad's is good but mine and mom's could use some work!

Dad and I had a Fastpass for Star Tours and had to get a glasses pic!

It was time for us to head out of the park and go to one of our favorite restaurants!!

If you couldn't guess where we were from the second picture it was the Poly! We were eating dinner at Ohana!

I told mom and dad to take a seat so I could get a picture

and a mushy gushy lovey one

They look too cute together!

It was time to check in so mom headed that way while my dad and I had our sights set on

A Lapu Lapu!!! Which is one of the best drinks ever!

We were called pretty quickly and once we got to the table my dad and I needed a drinking pic!

I was told the chef would be out in a bit and mom and dad were given their bread

I was able to eat the salad which is delicious

They had a new item

These are the lettuce wraps and while my dad said these were good they were a bit too much lettuce after the salad!

They also had the old favorites as well

It was the first time I had ever seen a male ukulele player! Usually we have the female one

After waiting what seemed like forever my food began coming out!

It was the same as usual with the exception of the lettuce wraps. I was able to have the awesome buffalo wings again and asked for seconds again! Hey they only gave me 3 :upsidedow

Once we all finished it was dessert time!

Mine

It's like a molten cake and has hot fudge on the inside!

and my parents

It looks so good!!!

Throughout our meal it had been raining and storming but luckily by the time we were all set it had cleared up! We hopped on the monorail and began the trip to our next park!

Does this look familiar?!

We were excited to see the F&GF!!

This is my favorite time of the year at Epcot

We headed to Spaceship Earth first!

Where I proceeded to make a goofy face

and I had a bite taken out of my head! Mom and dad look normal though!

Once we made it back from the past/future we set out on a search for topiaries!

Found some! I love how the incorporated the insects this year!

We also found a fountain

and some more topiaries

I feel like this is an awkward Donald. He is just kinda there while Goofy is about to make a goal. If Donald was on the opposing team he would be very mad Goofy was about to score and would not be smiling. If he was on the same team I think he might be a little upset Goofy was hogging the spotlight! :lmao: I put way too much thought in to Donald's feelings!

We also found Phineas and Ferb who did not look awkward!

I turned around and just saw a picture perfect moment

Aaaahhh Epcot how I love thee!

Sorcerer Mickey welcomed us to World Showcase

along with some mushroom men

They had the usual kiosks set up around the F&G but this one caught my eye

It was very cool seeing hydroponics being used outside of Living with the Land :rotfl2:

The only plan we had for tonight was just walking around the World Showcase and it was a gorgeous night to do so!

We stopped by one of the shops and had dad pose in a goofy hat

and continued our walk

Dad must have been feeling pretty good after that Lapu Lapu and was offering to pose for a lot of pictures

Mom is just goofy naturally no alcohol needed :rotfl:

Dad is pretty awesome after a Lapu Lapu!

I think he officially became the drunken punkin this trip!

Mom and dad headed to the restroom while I checked out the train

I love the little F&G!

We also saw Kermie and Miss Piggy!

Such a great addition!

Another shot of the gorgeous night

We also ran in to some princesses

and some ducks because who really cares about topiaries when you have ducks?!

and someone who is nearly perfect in every way

They also had the yearly sand sculpture out this time for Bears

For the themed jungle gym area this year it was Monsters Inc

We walked up near the gate to get a shot of Mike and Sulley but couldn't get any closer because it was closed. The CM working the area opened the gate and told me to come on in for a picture!

Of course I did!

On our way out we passed by the Butterfly Garden

I love this picture!

It was very cool seeing the pixie dust!

We headed in to Club Cool before we walked out and dad channeled his inner Ryan Evans

Here is a somewhat blurry picture of all of the new offerings

They are all disgusting!!!!! I am so not a fan!

We then walked out of the park and went to bed!

Yay now only two days behind!

I'm very excited to be all caught up again! Love anything Star Wars and I definitely want to get back again for another Star Wars weekend.
What time can you see Yee Haw Bob?
The picture of your Mom & Dad in the Poly lobby is really nice! It's great that you got it when you did because I think it is closed up now according to what I've been reading.:(
F&G is gorgeous!! I just can't get over the colors. The light up Tink and pixie dust is so cute. You really got a great sky picture with Imagination. Don't o just love those accidental pictures?

I love that picture of the butterfly garden. We missed it when we were there in March. The Flower and Garden show must be almost over by now, isn't it?

Luvin the flower and garden pics. I love how they update the miniature train village thing to match whatever is going on in the park as well :goodvibes

I am a little late to the party but excited to be tagging along. I have read some of your TR's from several years ago and enjoyed them.

My daughter was a CP there a few years ago and all I can tell you is she had the time of her life. She made many very good friends that she still keeps in touch with and will probably be friends with for life. Several of them still work there! She loved it so much she extended and did another session, just a tip - it was much better with car

I can't wait to read along on your journey and hope you love it as much as she did.

Yay!

We plan on it next year as well!

He starts his show at 830 every night and plays well in to the night!

Thank you! I wanted a few pictures around there for that reason!

I know!!! I loved that Tinkerbell area! I do love them!

I believe this past weekend was the last weekend for it.

I do too!

Gorgeous Epcot Pictures!!!

Welcome! Glad you enjoyed them!

Yay! That is great to hear! I can't wait for my journey to begin! I would only bring my car down if I stayed. I am sure it will be hectic with the buses but I tend to arrive early for work and am a nut about time  I guess I will find out!

Thank you! Thank you for following along!
