I agree! I think I will be like a little kid and be too distracted by the movie screen and characters to eat

This breakfast sounds so fantastic. I assumed it was Disney characters in their Star Wars outfits, not the actual Star Wars characters!!!! I actually met the REAL Darth Vader (David Prowse) when I was a kid in full Darth attire. And just like meeting Disney characters, I could not understand why he wouldn't speak, lol.

OMG all these DISmeets sound so fun. A little jealous here.

The other characters that are supposed to be there include a Storm Trooper, Boba Fett and Greedo (the alien Han Solo shoots in the cantina). I am so excited!! Meeting Boba Fett was on my SWW to do list!

If you read my November TR you know I love it there! I went twice on that trip and have gone on a couple past trips. I fell in love with a piano player there in November so I hope he is performing tonight!

I do remember that.

I plan on trying out the different drinks and snacking around the world at the booths for dinner!

The Hollywood and Vine dinner has the fab five dressed up as the characters I may or may not be going there too That is so cool!!

I am hoping to set a record for the number of DISmeets during my DCP! I want everyone to let me know when they are going! DIS people are the most supportive people I know and I would feel honored to meet them all

I got a Star Wars lanyard to put my Star Wars pins on that has a pictures of Darth Vader on it and it says "Free throat hugs". I might have to get him to do the choke hold pose with me this time!

I've subscribed and cannot wait to read about your DCP adventure! My DD is a sophomore in college and I think the DCP would be a great experience for her! She read Jess's report and it intrigued her but since college is already going to be 5 years for her, taking off a semester doesn't appeal to her at this time! We just found out on our mother/daughter Spring Break trip in March that you can apply for the summer after your graduate college or during your Masters program so it's still a possibility! :fingers crossed: BTW, your bucket list is great especially Neil Patrick Harris doing the Candlelight Processional! Good luck! I'll be reading along, excitedly!!!

That's exactly why I didn't do it during my undergrad. It's kinda tough knowing your undergrad will be so long. All of my roommates are graduating this month and then going to the program. I really hope she decides to do it!

Star Wars Weekend Pre-Order

Hey everyone!

Sorry to interrupt you're regularly scheduled Pre-Trip but I just got my pre-order list from Star Wars Weekends and thought I would post pictures of what I am getting through that so I won't have to bombard you with a ton of Star Wars merch picks later

So for those of you that are curious here is my list of items!



I was able to pre order the Tractors ( which will go perfectly with my Darth Vader Tow Mater and C3PO and R2D2 Luigi and Guido I got in Disneyland!) and the Mickey and Donald package. I do plan on buying the set of all of them but it wasn't listed in the pre-order.

I am really looking forward to getting these! Now these are only the pre-order items they offer so I am sure I will find more once I get there! I already know I want the Duffy dressed up like Yoda so we will see what else I end up with

Escape from the Death Star is really cute. Pluto inside of R2D2 is the best one. If I was going to be there during the Star Wars Week's activities I think I would be tempted to book the character dinner at H&V. I have loved Star Wars from the time the first movie came out.

You should check it out! It's supposed to be a cool experience with special fireworks at DHS this year The park is usually pretty packed but I think it's worth just a little bit of time there
