"For the first time in forever, I'm getting what I'm dreaming of." Sept 2015 PTR

Not Fall related at all, but it sure made my DD happy. She got dressed in her LM shirt and even drew a few pictures to use as decorations for FMN.

Adorable! I love all your menu items for LM FMN; very cute. I think your sea water and fish dessert is my favorite. Is it jello and Swedish fish? Glad you were able to hold off a while before busting out the Frozen for DD.

Thank you, yes jello and swedish fish is right. That was my kids' favorite part too. They put the fish into the jello. Frozen is held off for now, but I think it will happen soon :)

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and filled up on super yummy food. This was my first year hosting, so that was new but all went great and I had no complaints, I'll take that as a win. Then we went to my sister-in-laws for a second round and most importantly to watch the Seahawks beat the 49ers

Since it's not December quite yet, we decided to throw in another random non-themed movie here. Mostly because I wanted an easy meal after the Thanksgiving cooking and well, frankly I wanted some strawberry crepes ;)

The kids' favorite part....the fries, that's pretty much all they ate.

I continue to be super impressed with your movie night theming. The food looks delicious. :)

I LOVE the Aristocats and I love what you did for movie night, super cute! Glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving!! :goodvibes

I haven't seen the Aristocats in years! I really need to beef up my Disney movie collection before DD gets bigger!

Been away from the DIS for awhile, but I'm back and all caught up! Yay for being in the 200s!!

Got a little behind but I'm all caught up now!

Love the Little Mermaid and Aristocats movie nights! I probably would have snacked on the fries too, they look delicious!

Congrats for being in the 200's! :woohoo::woohoo:

Sorry for the delay in getting this posted. Elf on the shelf has kept me busy this month.
This was last weeks movie night...Frozen....FINALLY as my DD would say.

DD really got into helping me decorate for this. She made sure to get dressed in her Elsa dress and helped DS get his Olaf shirt. The Olaf dip was their favorite item.

Another FMN is on the schedule tonight. As of this moment I am unsure which one it will be :worried: Depends on if the netflix DVD arrives in the mail today, if not we will do the one scheduled for next week instead.

Adorable kids! I like how they showed up for your Frozen movie night, unlike mine. :lmao:

Elf on the Shelf. My kids are asking me for one because they hear about them at school but I keep saying no. I know, I'm a meanie. I just know that I would forget about the elf and mess up the magic of it. But I love seeing the creative ideas people come up with.

Finally! :lmao:

Glad DD got so into helping, not surprised; Frozen has swept the nation! We sing the songs in my office!!

Dinner looks great, as usual. What was in the Olaf dip?

LOL, both of my kids are slightly obsessed with Frozen, so they both were excited for this one.

Elf on the shelf does take commitment. There have been many times that I have gone to bed and forgot to move them. Then have to get creative at 1:00am.

Haha, I know. Such a mean mom, making them wait so long for Frozen.

That is so awesome that you sing Frozen songs at work, I want to work there ;)

The Olaf dip was just a ranch packet with sour cream.

Love the Frozen night, super cute!! That Olaf is amazing!

Awe, thank you!

Frozen finally!! ;) super cute and looks like another great movie night!

LOL! Thank you!

The Santa Clause was the unanimous decision for week number 17. My kids had never seen it, they really enjoyed the new movie. I had a terrible time trying to think of menu items, but then I remembered that they went to Dennys when the dinner was burnt. So a breakfast theme it was.

The Muppets Christmas Carol was another new one for them. Again for food, I was very stumped, I just did Christmas themed food. We had zero decorations for this night

We have been super busy with holiday concerts, holiday events, Christmas baking, Christmas shopping, making gifts and wrapping. It's been crazy! I am actually looking forward to winter break with the kids, so there is no school stuff to keep track of. I don't think I will get a chance to be back on the DIS until after Christmas, so I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to everyone!

mmmm, breakfast for dinner is always good!

i LOVE the muppet Christmas carol. we still have it on VHS and i refuse to get rid of it. the verison on DVD and Netflix are edited (a song was removed for some reason) and i HAVE to watch the original version. i'm so crazy! did the kids like it?

have a merry Christmas and happy new year!
