Keeping my finger crossed on FD! Your movie nights look super cute, as always! I love your tangled shirt-adorable! We love that movie too. It was one of the first that our oldest went too. I remember when Flynn and Maximus take off to save rapunzel, she stood up and yelled "run, horse! Run!" It was so funny! But she was into that movie!

Planes FMN #36 & Update

My DS was very happy to have a favorite movie of his be up for FMN.


My DD made sure they both were wearing orange shirts.


Our big news is (as I am sure you guessed it), my TA was able to snag FREE DINING

The main reason I chose a TA was to be the one on hold for FD when/if it came out and less stress on me. Unfortunately, I was more stressed having to WAIT to see if she got it. I'd seen that people were able to modify and get FD online, had I known that I would not have been so set on using a TA. The waiting was awful, I was panicking like no other. I was seeing on my FB groups that resorts were selling out of FD rooms and that it was really limited this year.

Thankfully, after stressing for over 4 1/2 hours and looking at nothing but my email (and occasionally FB), I got the email I'd been waiting for!!!!!! I am so stinking relieved, it's not even funny. We are upgrading our free QS dining to the regular dining which is a hefty amount because we are there 11 nights, but still cheaper to do it this way than upgrade to a moderate resort.

In other news...

I got this in the mail today.


A member from our FB group designed these and then another member made them into buttons. I love it so much! Can't wait to be on the look out for these during our trip!

By the way, I have to ask, the stuffed Kermit doll from FMN... is that an old Happy Meal toy from the 80s? I swear I had that! LOL

Thank you! I agree, getting over the FD hump makes the trip seem so much closer now. I've decided I like counting pay checks these days instead of days, it makes the trip seem much closer!

Haha, I know they sure were, but it sounds like it's worked out for most everyone now that more FD was released today. I love the buttons!

Awe, thank you so much for your kind words! Eek...next month?! So exciting, I will be curious to see what you think of June compared to September.

The Kermit very well could be a McDonald's toy. It is definitely old, it was my DH's and my MIL gave it to our kids. I will have to ask her where it is from!

My oh my, we have had a busy couple of weeks! Here is a peek into it...

My DD has started spring soccer, this is her second year and she is loving it! It's amazing how much difference a year makes. She was real timid her first year and now she is the complete opposite.



Then we had my niece over for a sleepover and she joined us for our UP FMN #37





My nephew then stayed for 3 nights with us because his sister was being born! I have a brand new little niece and she is perfect, we are all loving her!





We then celebrated Cinco de Mayo with FMN #38 The Three Caballeros (sorry if the photos are too big, photo bucket decided it didn't want to save any more photos I tried to edit. Grr)




Lastly, my DD had a school field trip to the zoo. I chaperoned and we had a blast!



See, busy busy busy! I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend I hope all the mother's out there have a wonderful Mother's Day tomorrow!

How amazing would a huge reunion in WDW be?! I'd love to do that, but most of my family is near me, so DL is WAY closer and more realistic for my family. Maybe some day.

I saw you posted your PRT on our September facebook group under mine so I thought I would check in! I LOVE your report! Your family is adorable. I can't believe all of the FMN that you have done! You are so creative & I love seeing the pictures of all of them!

I'm glad you were able to get Free Dining! Oh my gosh, all the updates the entire day in our facebook group was crazy! Since Disney did it so differently this year than in the past it felt like mad chaos in that group!

I know you haven't put your dates, but maybe we'll be there around the same time!

Wreck it Ralph FMN #39

DS was sound asleep after coming home from a sleep over at his Grandpa and Grandma's house, so he missed out





So I started looking back to when I first started these movie nights, the ones in the beginning were so much better. The ones lately, I just laugh at, I can tell me working nights has affected it. Oops. Good thing the kids don't care or notice right? Haha.

My fastpass date will be here before I know it and I have NO clue what to do. Like seriously, I don't even want to think about it. I love the planning, but the Fastpass part seems like a headache I don't want to deal with. Ugh. I have no idea what time we will need/want the Fastpasses, how long our meal will take, when we will want to head back to the resort for a break. So many factors to think about, not to mention which rides to FP. I'm sure it's not as big of a deal as it seems, but I am not looking forward to it. So I am looking for any tips and suggestions on what to FP and good times, just any advice really. Pretty much all I know is that I need an Anna & Elsa FP, 7DMT FP and Frozen Sing-a-long FP for sure.

We are almost ready to do our double digit dance....that seems CRAZY to me! It makes the trip feel so much closer!

Yes, a ton of movie nights have happened, but it helps make the time go fast! When we did a countdown for DL, we only did a paper chain and it felt like the trip was never going to be here. I like this feeling of the time passing faster much better.

Yes, total chaos for FD! I am glad it has seemed to work out for most people now.

Oh, fastpasses....so much stress!! Here's how I do it. I try to have a schedule made up of what we want to do, what time we have ADRs, and about when we'll be in what areas of the park. Then I start with whatever is most important that trip and see what I can get, then see what is left for our next choices after that. I play around with times a little and just do the best I can. When I'm happy (or it's as good as it's gonna get), I add them to the schedule and see how things look. I sometimes end up tweaking ADRs or checking back daily (sometimes several times) to see if additional times have shown up for certain fastpasses. You can always go back and check things without losing your fastpasses. I also checked on the DIS for info about things opening up/changes etc.

The best advice I got was to remember that you can get on whenever it's midnight EASTERN standard time. I don't remember where you are, but, for example, when it's 11pm for me, it's midnight at Disney and I can get on and start reserving stuff. Also, just remember, some of those fastpasses are HARD to get. Don't beat yourself up if you don't get everything you wanted or at times you wanted. You'll still have a blast!
