As I read these posts, I can't help but think of
The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause where Frost takes over the North Pole and there are upcharges for everything, the magic is gone and everything is about the dollar.
The common theme of this thread seems to be that the
magic is elusive lately.
We had a really good trip in July and had a December trip planned (would have been last weekend). After the pricing for
Disney Very Merriest After Hours were released and Geenie+ and the out-of-control COVID outbreak in Florida, we decided to cancel our trip. We'll try again next year. Hopefully, Disney figures all of this out. My real worry is that Disney bean counters have replaced the magic with algorithms and lost why we all come to the Happiest Place on Earth.
I know many will disagree with my view, and that's fine, but I think
ajollyholidaywithjo has really hit the nail on the head with how many people feel about Walt Disney World right now. Everyone should let the people at Walt Disney World know how they feel (good and bad). The email address is
