That is a beautiful Lion, I think that is my Allys mom or father, not sure if it is a male or female but my cat looks like it in smaller form.

It's hard to get pics that good while riding in the safari vechicles. Did they stop for you, LK? I got a couple of nice silohuette shots on my last trip but I was almost in the seat behind me trying to get it!! The lady was a bit miffed at that!

I think they did slow down for the face shot. The standing shot was in the rain and even though I was the only one in the truck, she never stopped.

You have got some great pictures there, was it early in the morning?? Twice when I have been in June it is difficult to see the lions much after 10am as they are in the shade and sleeping!!
I would love to take him home but not too sue my fur babies would agree!!!!
Also I think I my have a problem with importation and quarrentine (sp) !!!!!!!!!

Actually it was late afternoon after 4 PM for the lion shot.

The second shot was during the rain.
