For SW travelers---are your flights always DELAYED?

I have had better luck with SW than I have had with other airlines. However, we do usually just fly direct, which I think helps.

I've probably flown SW 50 times and have only had one weather-related delay, which was less than an hour. I think my DD and DSIL had an hour-long delay for mechanical reasons in Orlando this past May.

Fly SW a few times a year, Dules to MCO mainly and we have had two delays in the last 8 years. LOVE them because of this.

I've taken PVD to MCO non-stops about a dozen times in the last three years and never had a delay. I always take the first morning flight though if possible. MCO to PVD I take a late morning non-stop flight and I've had two delays, both due to incoming equipment having weather delays.

My daughter flies from PHL to PVD roundtrip to visit us 2-3 times a year and has only arrived on time once in recent memory. Most of the PHL to PVD flights start on the west coast and head east with about three stops on the way. Her flight on the 23rd went from the Bay area to Las Vegas to Midway to PHL to PVD and was 4 hours late arriving PHL. A helpful check-in agent offered to send her to BWI and then to PVD and she was only 20 minutes late to PVD (it was helpful she was early to the airport and the flights she ended up on had empty seats). Her original flight was listed to arrive 5 hours late at PVD.
