For Pete's sake! The DIS Podcast tee got me in trouble at WDW lol!!

I just posted my pics of our Dole Whip for Bawb from our May trip. But I have another story too ...I also got in trouble that day- all because of the DIS Podcast tee I was wearing.

After having my Dole Whip for Bawb, I went to the Ladies room to wash the melted ice cream from my hands... while in line, a lady also in line, says to me "are you guys still limiting the thread to so many pages?? I am on the ____ board and its stinks because I can't keep up since it moves so fast and ...." I said "oh, I know it stinks, but it keeps the boards from getting bogged down and slow..." I explained it to her and then RAN before I got in more trouble
I have no idea why I didn't say I just a DIS member like her, but I guess the need to stick up for the team and explain that decision is in the members best interest, was stronger.

Am I the only one who got in trouble wearing a DIS Podcast tee??

I was "spotted" wearing my DIS shirt during our May trip. Some gentleman came up to me and said.."excuse me, are you HIM"...."the guy who runs that site?" I ensured him that I was not him and that his name was Pete and he lived right here in Orlando, and if you researched hard enough you just may find out where he lives....just kidding. I simply said I was not and we had a brief conversation about the boards and the wdwinfo site. As he left he said "I thought I almost met a celebrity."

Pete, I think you guys need to officially start carrying autographed 8x10's with you around the parks if this keeps up.

I didn't get in trouble when I wore my DIS Unplugged shirt but I did have a CM make a comment about how he checks out the DIS and used to know someone that moderated it. I also had someone say something to their traveling mate about wondering what the saying on my sleeve meant. FYI - I have "They can't hit ya" on my sleeve.

I could have gone with the flow but the dude was a bit bigger than me and I wasn't sure if maybe he was a disgruntled member of the "don't steal the soda moral police". Besides, I don't want to steal the glory from Pete.
