Ugh! I hate my hair sometimes!
It's very curly and yet super fine (the worst combo). And lately my hair has also become horribly dry (with disgusting, fuzzy ends). I do get regular "health trims" (about every 6 -8 weeks), but my hair still looks like a disaster area. It's one bad hair day after the other.
I've been scouring the internet in search of inexpensive, do-it-yourself dry/damaged hair fixes. I've found several including: changing my diet, taking a daily multi-vitamin, slathering my hair with mayo and covering with plastic (has anyone tried this?), adding a tablespoon of olive oil to my regular conditioner, shampooing every other day, limited use (or non-use) of blow-dryers and straightening irons, etc., etc. TONS of ideas popped up on Google.
When we went to WDW in mid-February, the humidity wasn't that bad (except for two days). I had straightened my hair each morning but it poofed by the time I reached the parks. I spent the remainder of each day with my hair scraped back in a rather severe-looking bun (and I look absolutely horrid in some of our pictures).
What do you curly gals/guys do with your hair when you're at the World? Does anyone have any great dry/curly hair tips or advice? I'm this close to cutting it all off.
