And here I am worried about my hair!:lmao: Who cares if I can't see to drive because there's something in my eye. As long as my hair looks good. Not that I'll be able to tell as I'll be freaking blind.

Yeah, you should bring in that TV if you can't sleep. We really need a new TV in our living room. I'm just too cheap to go out and buy one. The top of our TV has these lines that go across it, which makes some things hard to see. I don't watch enough TV to care though.

Well your hair does become one matted, knotted mess from the way it whips in the wind with open windows, but I have had more problems with crap blowing in the window and going in my eyes. That would be a little hard when you are the driver, :lmao:

We are TV fanatics. Not that I sit and stare at it, it's more like background noise. I do have my shows I really like, Rescue Me, Army Wives and a few others and I DVR them so I can watch when I know I'm going to pay attention, lol, the rest of the time it's on but not really being watched. Now in the bedrom at night I need to watch as otherwise I lay there thinking about how hard I am trying to go to sleep and that keeps me awake. I hate that!

Ain't that the truth?! As much as I miss my long hair, I don't have nearly as many knots in it as I used to get. Since I decided to stop coloring my hair, I've really been noticing the grey hairs I've got now. Grey hairs don't go well with black hair. I got so frustrated this morning that I got out the tweezers and started plucking them out. My god, I've got a lot of them.

The only thing I really watch on TV religiously is Desperate Housewives. I've been following Daisy of Love and Charm School on VH1 lately, too. Other than that, we usually just watch Spongebob and the shows on the Disney channel. Shane's usually got ESPN on watching Sports Center. I get so sick of watching that.

To be honest, I haven't touched a musical instrument since I graduated high school 14 years ago. So who knows if I can still do it.

If it makes you feel any better, I can't sing to save my life. The cat runs upstairs and hides under the bed if I break into song.

I can't sing either, but I don't think the dog would run away if I broke out in song, :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You could probably pick it back up if you sat down and tried I am sure. You just have to be interested in it again.

so glad to hear that you anna worked things out

thanks:goodvibes

Thanks girl

WOW....7 days...I hope he does not have that ...Your poor mom

I hope he doesn't have it for 7 days either, he's too little, he can't afford to be sick and not eat that long, he'd disappear! :sad1:

Daisy of love is cracking me up

It is such a train wreck, but so fun to watch :happytv:

Hey, I hit 6000 posts!:lmao:

I probably could pick up reading music again. I actually used to enjoy playing instruments. We played a bunch of Disney songs in orchestra in high school. I was first chair clarinet back then, so I guess I was doing something right. Playing Disney songs was a lot of fun.

Then we'd have to play these horrible songs too. I can remember playing "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang. When I was a drummer, we would get into so much trouble because we would play "Wipeout" when we weren't supposed to. Come to think of it, I was in trouble a LOT when I was in the band. That's the only class I ever got into trouble in. Believe it or not, I never had to sit in a detention in my life.

I freakin hate this old laptop.I have so much trouble with the keyboard, it skips around and suddenly highlights text and then disappears. I had a long reply typed and suddenly it went blank and I had to start all over :headache::mad:

Anyway lets try this again. I like the way you are wearing your hair, it looks great! I did not notice any gray so it isn't obvious to me, just to you. Dont be plucking them out if you have alot of them or you'll have a hairdo like Bryan, lol. :rotfl2: If it bothers you, just dye it. I have been dying mine for years now.

I never watched the other two shows however I forgot to mention Desperate Housewives, I watch that one myself. I DVR'd the season finale as we were traveling. I watched it when we got home, it was awesome, wasn't it? I can't wait till next season starts already!

Was that on on Sunday? I think I may have missed it this week.

I can't stand her. I do like that guy that's in the band Dope. What's his name on the show? Sinister I think.

And 6 gauge? WHY would you put a hole of that size there?? Have you ever seen one of those piercings? They look like they hurt like heck.

I'll tell you who is getting on my nerves...12 pack. He's just creepy.

um..not sur when it is on

I just look for it on reruns

She is nasty and so dumb..but amusing to watch :rotfl:

Sinister is not bad.

That looks like it hurts a ton

12 pack is so full of himself and revolting :scared:

Oh, I'm sorry QM!! The storm sounded very scary. I'm sorry for your coffee and tv loss.

When I bought my digital piano many years ago, I was told to always unplug the piano when not in use b/c if lightening struck/power surge, it could "disable" my piano. So I always keep it unplugged.

We have surge protectors on our computers and tv ... you may want to consider one of those for your next tv.

Thanks Marshay, we have them on our computers and our living room TV and for some reason never thought about having one on the bedroom TV. When a storm comes I turn them off and turn off the surge protector. Last year we had a storm not quite this bad but bad and it literally burned out the surge protector on the living room TV but it didn't affect the TV. I don't unplug TVs and such as they take so long to boot back up the satellite but now I wish I had.

Well, I had my hair up that one day, and all of the greys seem to be concentrated right around where I was cut open in the front. So I already have this bald spot there to start with and I'm yanking out my grey hairs on top of that. So I can totally see me looking like Bryan in the near future.

Does he shave his head or is he naturally that bald?

I have to get my hair colored professionally now. I'm scared to do it myself. It seems to be growing pretty fast now, so if I wanted the greys to not be visible, I'd probably have to get it done at least once a month. That gets really expensive really quick!

I've heard a lot of people complaining about the season finale. I liked it. So glad MJ didn't get hurt. That Dave guy was creepy. I hope he doesn't come back next year. Who do you think Mike married?

I've gotta watch it on Sunday. I don't do a lot of TV watching during the week. So I have to catch Charm school on reruns on the weekend.

She really is stupid, isn't she? I can't remember what she said on the last episode, but she was trying to sound smart and ended up saying something that isn't even a word. I guess some guys like the dumb blonde thing though.

I used to think 12 pack was kinda cute. But watching him now has totally changed my mind about him. He's a dork. And you're right, he is full of himself. I hate guys like that.

Have y'all ever been so tired that you're wide awake? That's how I feel right now.

But this pill I took is making me nauseated right now, so I'm going to have to try to go to sleep to get rid of the nausea. I'll talk to you all later. It was nice getting to chat a bit tonight.

Have a great day tomorrow everyone.:goodvibes

Well believe me, your bald spot didn't show and neither did your gray. You looked geat! No Bryan is that bad on top and partly down the back, but he does shave the rest as he hates that look of longer hair and then no hair, rather be all the way bald. If he let it grow out it would be totally gray now!

He dyes my hair for me so it only costs me under $10 every time I get it dyed. I couldn't afford to go get it done professionally that often. I think we do it about every 4 - 6 weeks, right after a haircut. In fact I have a box of dye on the counter now, he's going to do it sometime this weekend.

I can't imagine anyone complaining about the season finale. I liked it too. That Dave is a weirdo. I don't think he'll be back next season because he got caught. I think Mike ended up marrying Susan again. I think he realized how much he loved her. He was only marrying the other one because he thought Susan didn't want him back, in my opinion that is. You could tell he only asked her to marry him after Susan was going to marry the immigrant, Jackson, so he could get a green card. Who do you think he married?

Yes I have been that way many times, I dont sleep well no matter how exhausted I am. So I have sympathy. I am really sorry your medicine is making you nauseated, you need to sleep that off. Take care and hope you feel better tomorrow.

I'm so glad we got to chat tonight. Talk to you later!

Good morning all

Called out of work again today

fell asleep about 2am..up at 5am as trent was coughing . So covered him up and gave him some water and went back to bed

Woke up again a few mins after 7

I decided to just stay up

an exhausted :upsidedow

Made a litttle progress with trent

About 8:15 Trent woke up and smiled.

Got him to watcch a full episode of Spongebob, so he was awake for a full 30 mins

Took him to bathroom and gave him a decent amt of water.

He went back to sleep...

He has a bad cough though.

Around 1 or 2 after Steve wakes up(worked last night), going to take him to Well clinic at Walgreens.

Hopefully we can get some meds to get him better

Hey

where is Chrissmiss at?

Was she going to FL?

Mine get out Monday. Tomorrow, they're apparently watching Wall E. What a productive use of time. Wish I couldget away with that at work.

Wouldn't that be nice. I think Loren's day may be kind of sad, it's the last day for the school. The district is closing four schools due to budget downfall.:sad2:

YES!!! As long as everything stays on track, we'll be leaving next Friday after I get home from work. Then staying at my sister's friday night. It will be late until we get there cuase I know nothing will be ready when I get home. I havew to remember to start packing next week so I'm not so far behind come friday. I'm such a procrastinator when it comes to that kind of thing.

I still don't know if we're taking my car (no air conditioning, but good on gas) or Joe's car (AC but has 111,000 miles on it and a sucky CD player). Which would you suggest???

Woo hoo on how close. I am a classic procrastinator when it comes to vacation packing. I would take yours. I think the music and the gas mileage wins out with me.

Well since we're posting sucky weeks, here's mine. As you all know I got bronchitis as soon as I got to NJ to visit Kelly, Trent & the rest of the family. Well it just won't go away and I can't break up the dry mass of congestion in my chest. I called for a prescription and no one ever called me back so I went to call again today and come to find out they called my prescriptions in two days ago. I have to go 18 miles to any store and I was down there two days ago so I had to make another 36 mile round trip to get my prescriptions. I know, that is minor crap, just had to start with my first sucky thing! LOL!

We had a horrendous storm tonight. First time ever I was literally so scared when a storm broke out. There were tornado warnings or watches, whichever is less severe here in our part of the Parish and severe storm warnings. Well it came and it came hard and fast, there was constant lightning and thunder at the same time, so you knew the storm was right over us. Bryan had gone to the dumpster and saw lightning strike a tree right in front of him, said he never saw anything like it. Well I went out of my way to light candles in every room, turn off the TVs and and was waiting out the storm. I heard such long long sounds of rolling thunder and weird sounding thunder that I really thought it was a tornado and was about ready to cry and head with the dog to the bathroom to get in the tub!

After the storm, Bryan was able to get out of the truck (he was waiting the rest of it out in the driveway as it was coming down in sheets) and he wanted coffee so he went to turn on the coffee maker, which we just got about 2 months ago, and it won't work, it burned out from the storm, we had a few surges during the storm. Pain but not overly bad as coffee makers aren't that terribly expensive.

Well I just went into the bedroom to get PJs and get ready for a shower and was watching a show in the family room so wanted to see the end while I was getting ready for my shower and I go to turn on the TV, which is only a year old, TV/DVD combo and guess what, the storm took that out too!:scared1: I couldn't believe it, nothing was on, but they were plugged in so I guess power surges can kill something even when it is not on.

I am not going to be able to sleep tonight as I have to have the TV on to fall asleep.

I know its not nearly as bad as Cheri's problems with the roof and car and Kelly's pipes in the kitchen, and...certainly not as serious as my Trent being sick but it sure sucked to find out that those things were blown out by the storm. :sad2:

Let's all go to bed and get up next week and hope that its going to be better!

Poor QM.
