For first time Disney cruisers, which onboard activities are usually sold out on Disney Fantasy?

Cruise group as in like besides myself? I am going with a party of 7 including myself. We're a family.

I really really really want the royal tea royal court. May I ask typically how many availabilities there are per 7 day cruise sailing? Like is it available everyday several times a day?
They do it once per day on sea days
And like your Facebook group for your sailing

By the time that your booking window open, Palo Brunch will likely be sold out but you should still be able to book dinner. If you plan on having both brunch and dinner, there is another way that can get you in the Brunch in addition to keep checking and getting on the waitlist once onboard. My friend once had a dinner reservation but she couldn't get the brunch on the Dream. She went to the dinner and casually talked to her server about the brunch. The server said they could work something out and booked the brunch for her. My brother also was asked if he would like to book for Palo brunch during his dinner at Palo on the Wonder too. I'm not sure if it works this way across the ships, but it seems like this may worth a try if you already want to do both brunch and dinner anyway. So if you want to try this, make sure to book for Palo dinner earlier in the voyage so you can get on the Brunch on the later Sea day.

If you can't get what you want, try looking in the app once you are in the port, especially for adult beverage tastings. May have to try onboard. Also, dining has a spot where you can get on the waitlist. I think it's Enchanted Garden on Fantasy. If you are part of the social media group for your cruise, you can usually ask people in higher tiers if specific things are still left before your booking day. It's helpful for shore excursions, because then you may find something outside of DCL. Also have backups planned for shore excursions.
exactly this. check back frequently stuff does open up. I snagged champagne tastings for our norway cruise a month ago about 6 weeks before sail date then the day leading up to the cruise before boarding a ton of stuff became available, including Remy brunch which I also snagged

This is very good to know! Thank you! How often would you say you monitor the website for availability? lol

Just be sure that on Jamaica day you have to change your iPhone clock one hour. We had the princess gathering at the last am time slot and nothing could be done. We arrived 10 mins early at 11:05 am thinking it was 10:05 am. In the end we did meet all the princesses (had purchased the photo package) by shortening nap time and standing in line for each of the 5/6 princesses (each 20-30 mins; one we had met on a prior day)! Last year there were only 4 princesses.

Maybe verify the time on your TV matches your phone/watch before heading out of your room. Another tip is to put a timer when you go for an excursion so you don’t overstay (I put 2-3 hours when I disembark).

Not really necessary if you're taking a ship-based excursion. If you're doing a private excursion, you should communicate with the provider to ensure that they will have you back in time.

We are Platinum and I was a little bit surprised that we were not able to get Palo brunch when we tried at midnight the day the booking opened.

I was trying for a facial and a bunch of availability showed up last Saturday for the 4D Fantasy to CC & LT. Does anyone know if the DVC discount applies for LT & CC port days?

Thanks for the reply.

How many backups should I have for port adventures? :)
I see this A LOT. People get overly concerned with excursions. Don't forget there is a ton to do on the ship and if you spend all your time off the ship you will miss out. If you are taking the cruise with the sole purpose of visiting the ports of call then of course that is a different story.

Also, be aware that if you go off on a private excursion (as in...not booked from DCL) you are 100% responsible for yourself while off the ship. If you don't make it back before all aboard time, the ship will leave without you.
