Don't wait in line for a table at Beaches and Cream to get the Kitchen Sink...go over the the Dolphin Fountain and get the following sundae:

Dolphin Splash - Pick 7 flavors and we'll splash em with all the sauces and toppings $11.50

This baby is loaded! Four of us couldn't finish it. And DVC Members get a 20% discount which makes it about half the price of the K.S.

The money you save not having to give your kids quarters while waiting at Beaches will pay for the sundae! :teeth:

Ice cream is good -- Ice cream is one of the basic food groups!

Did you have to wait very long to get served? That's the main gripe we have at B&C

We went in the evening and didn't have to wait at all. The place is set up like a 50's diner and isn't very big. It's also in a kind of out-of-the-way location so a lot of people probably don't even know it's there. The prices are very reasonable for all the menu items. I just read about the 20% discount on the DVC Member website and that's what prompted the post.

We love this place - it's never been crowded when we've been there. The 20% discount is a real plus!

Thanks for the info. We had never been there before but will certainly try it for our next trip.

I'll have to remember that. I think they should either do away with the arcade (gasp!) or move it at least, and expand Beaches & Cream. It's just always so crowded there, no matter what time.

So where is the Dolphin Fountain?

Is it at the Dolphin Hotel, or somewhere at the BCV?

Ice cream is one of my passions, and I am always looking to add an experience to my list.

Thanks

Oooooo...yum! We'll have to try this next trip! I love B&C...but I agree that it is TOO crowded. Expand the arcade...definitely!

My mouth is watering at the idea of a B&C burger right now!

Mia, thanks for posting the menu! Seeing the James Dean burgers made me realize that I've actually been to this restaurant. We had lunch there last year -- but did not eat any ice cream (our mistake!!)! Sounds like a "destination" for our October trip!!

It's in the Dolphin Hotel.

calypso*a*go-go,
Thanks for the info. I just put it on by "to do list" for our next trip! :teeth:

Ya just had to bring up B&C didn't ya. I am so hooked on the Roast Beef sandwich there, and now my mouth is watering again. I say I will put my name on the B&C list, take the beeper with me to the Dolphin, and standby while testing their goodies. Mmmmmm....then I will have to come back, and hide on the WISH board. :)

MMMMMMMMM ICE CREAM in my best Homer simpson impersonation we will have to check this out on our next trip.

Coach Rick -- If you eat at B&C and the Dolphin...I don't think you'll be able to hide. :teeth:

Does any place around the Epcot resort area serve soft serve? Due to my daughter's allergies she can't eat the scooped kind.

I know some of the resorts with food courts have a self serve soft serve machine. We love that.

Anyone know? What about any of the DVC resorts for that matter? Just curious...

Just got back from our first trip home. We were at the BCV 9/7-9/14, this is supposed to be one of the slowest times of the year at WDW and B&C was crowed every time we were there. This place is busy for a reason. DS and I stopped in late one night for a snack (first visit), brought everyone back two nights later for the KS. I like the arcade, but I have to agree that B&C should be expanded

We always stop by the Dolphin Fountain. One of our best kept secrets and now you let the cat out of the bag! Oh, the humanity... I can see it now, long lines and waits. While your there get the juke box going and the staff will do a dance between the tables. It's really a fun place!

The ice cream parlor on the Boardwalk, Seashore Sweets, serves yummy soft serve ice cream.

And just in case you aren't aware, in the MK there is soft serve ice cream at Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies in tomorrowland opposite the tomorrowland speedway.

Roaring Forks snacks at VWL has soft serve, as does The Meadow Trading Post at FT. Wilderness.

Goods to Go at Old Key West has soft yogurt only unless that has changed. If you're staying at OKW it's close to Pleasure Island you can get soft serve ice cream there at D'Zertz.

HTH!
