Is this love or what???

My husband knows how much I love a good Dole Whip so...

... he ordered some for me from Hawaii!!! It comes in a bag, in dried powder form, and you make it in a regular home grade ice cream machine. I was so blown away! Could this be the greatest gesture of love ever known to man?

Your DH sounds awesome ...My DH knows how much I love Dole Whips as well. One night after our March trip I had mentioned how bummed I was because I only got to have a Dole Whip Float once all trip, so he responded "Well I guess we will have to go on another trip". Now few months have past and last week my DH surprised my DDs and I with another trip to Disney in December, when asked why he did such a wonderful thing for us, his response was..."You said you wanted to have another Dole Whip Float!"

My DH, while great in his own way, has only once in the last 20 years truely surprised me with an incredible gift. He is not a guy that likes to buy gifts but I always get to do things my way. That is what he gives me.

The most exciting thing I've discovered in planning our upcoming DWD trip (I was last there as a nine-year-old in '86) is that DOLE WHIP is still available!!!

How nice! I, too, sadly only had one Dole Whip last trip in June. Good thing I am going back in Dec.! Well, a dancing pineapple would be more appropriate, right?

I've only had one Dole whip in my life, last summer at MK, but it was love at first bite!!

I had it twisted with vanilla soft serve and I loved the combination of the pineapple and vanilla on a hot summer afternoon at MK! It was the perfect day...we arrived at Pop Century to check in, had lunch at the food court there (where I had my first Mickey rice krispie treat ), headed to MK and enjoyed some attractions, and after DH and DS went on the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, we headed to Aloha Isle because as I had told DH, I just had to have a Dole whip after all I had read about them. DH liked it too, but not as much as me. The kids didn't like it. DH only had a few bites, then I got the rest to myself! Despite the patches of thunderstorms that afternoon, the stroller getting drenched while we were in Mickey's Philharmagic (but dried quickly in the heat), it was the best day and the best way to start my first Disney vacation since 1994!!

OK, I just had to share my first Dole Whip experience!! Can't wait until next summer to get at least 2 of them...one on each day at MK!!
