For difference of $11, would you take National over Alamo?

I've presently got 2 ressies for mid-size SUV's with both National(Emerald Reserve) and Alamo(quiksilver). Alamo is $93, National is $104. I've never used the Alamo QS service -not sure how it actually works. I'm a big fan of National EA, but imagine Emerald Reserve works the same(go directly to pick out vehicle and stop at kiosk). Is it worth $11 for the uncertainly of dealing with Alamo? Or should I stick with what I know - National?

I've never done alamo qs but I love the EA. I vote for sticking with National

How did you get such a low rate for National?/????? I got the same for Alamo but can't get it anywhere near there for National, and I would prefer National since we used them last year and had no probs.

Without a question I would go with National.
3 out of 4 of my upcoming trips are with Alamo, but I keep checking with National.

Yep, go with National. Emerald Isle or Emerald Reserve are great.
I just checked my rates again for 5 day suv 5/8 thru 5/13. It was 122.69 and it went down to 105.85. :cool1: I used the 25.00 e-coupon on their website, and the code for Emerald members.

there really is not much difference.
I've used both and with Alamo's online checkin procedure its almost identical to EA (pick car from class aisle...and drive away).
In the event of them running out of Alamo vehicles in your class (as was the case last March) they just send you over to the National aisles and choose from there.

I've never used QS, so for non-hassle purposes, I would pay the extra $11. I know QS is just as easy, but I am familiar with National so it is more comfortable for me.

You really could go either way. If Alamo participates with a FF program and you want the credit, use them.

I have always used National and love the Emerald Aisle. However, I did use Alamo in March with absolutely no problem at all.

EA all the way! Stay with National - sometimes there are reports of long lines at Alamo
