So, we've all heard by now that the dead ARE coming back. I couldn't be more thrilled. And apparently this isn't only the case on Days of Our Lives, but on Passions as well. I guess JERk has a fasination with the dead coming back to life.
So, from what I've heard, all the dead people on Days are actually a part of a secret ISA mission to bring Stefano Dimera down. The only downfall I've read on this is that apparently Tony was actually killed in real life (Days real life I should say) so he won't be coming back. That blows my hopes for a Dimera kids reunion.
The vision from Celest about the new wedding rings the widows in Salem were wearing...I bet that comes from remarriages. The husbands all come back, everyone is happy and they get remarried again. Only thing about this is, it would be like Jack and Jen's second marriage in like a year
And the dead are rising on Passions as well. Katherine Crane, Alister's dead wife, is coming back as well...but she's not coming back alone. Martin Fitzgerald will be returning with her. And both of their appearances aren't coincidental...they come back in love. Apparently they've been lovers this whole time. Rumor has it that the reason Alistar hates Sheridan so much is because apparently he's not her father...Martin is! Some think this theory goes a little too far since Passions is already pushing the incest with Whitney and Chad. This storyline would mean double incest with both Luis and Antonio...and either way, she's already had a baby with one of them. So some think that will be a little too much.
The other theory is they fell in love later. And the night that Sheridan keeps remembering a dead body under a bloody sheet is a false memory that Alistar had implanted there. He's already shown that he doesn't mind messing with her brain. So some think that Sheridan saw her mother and Martin run off together that night and Alistar had false memories implanted of her mother dying after she gave birth to her and mysterious memories of the bloody sheet with the body under it. Alistar wouldn't want anyone knowing that his wife ran off with "the housekeeper's husband." The only problem with this theory is that Sheridan has told so many people that her mother died after giving birth to her, and if that's not true, surely at least Pilar would say, "No, your mom was around until my Martin disappeared." So if the two of them actually ran off together, you would think Pilar would be suspicious about the two of them disappearing at the same time. But then again, JERk doesn't believe in continuiety and sticking to the storyline...he makes up his own history as he goes.
I think this might turn out to be a good summer for both NBC soaps. Now if only JERk could learn how to move things along a lot faster. He's moving things along now for May sweeps, but once these big twists come out, I bet it goes right back to being slow again.
