Just a quick question.

How long does it usually take for a CM order to come in?

I'm just impatient and anticipating my stuff.

Depends how far you live from a central shipping plant. I live in Portland, OR; nearest shipping plant is in Nevada. Once it ships from the plant, it takes two days to get to me. It depends when your CMC placed the order- some times of the month are busier than others and it takes a few days for orders to get processed and shipped out of the plant. Other times it only takes a day to get processed. I have never had anything take longer than one week to get to me.

Hope that helps-
your happy Cyber CMC :p

Thanks for the reply.

I ordered on Jan. 23rd. And I think the CMC told me she wasn't putting in the order until Feb 1st. I guess I will be hearing from her shortly.

I'm just so excited. And I didn't want to be a pain. Her dd and my dd are in the same Kindergarten class. I've only been to two of her crops. It just seemed so much easier and quicker than the way I was scrapping. I just don't have the 4 plus hours per layout that I was doing. Which is probably why I have 3 years of pictures to catch up on. And I haven't even started an album for my ds yet. He's almost 13 mos. Now that I've finished my new scrap/craft room, I want to get started.

Thanks for the help.

Denise, you're welcome! Any time you have a question, don't hesitate to ask!

I think you will like the CM philosophy of "Memory Keeping" versus crafty scrapbooking, especially since you have a lot to catch up on. Although I have always been a relatively simple scrapper (been doing it for 9 years now), I would get very frustrated and stall out before I discovered CM (about 18 months ago). I like the style very much, and I still add my own flairs here and there. And in my humble opinion, you just can't beat the quality.

Often CMC's wait until the first of the month to order, because that is when the new items for the month are available to order. And there were A LOT of new items for February, so that's probably why your CMC decided to wait. Did you see the Toddler Trinkets and Toys stickers? They are so cute and will be perfect for some of your DD's toddler and pre-school era pages. :teeth:

I read your post on the new feb products and went to the website to check out the new stuff. I also made a wish list!

The Tanzanite color book, Do you know if it is like a pastelish blue? It looks kind of purple on the website, I was thinking of ordering it to start the baby album. I did see the buttery yellow one I like it too. That is my second choice if the blue is more purple. Color names confuse me.

The Tanzanite is my favorite album right now...in fact I'm finishing up 2003 in Tanzanite. I would say it's more purple than blue...kind of that periwinkle color...a pale lilac is a way of describing it. I think it would make a great baby album for either a boy or girl as it's kind of neutral, for babies anyway.

Thanks Alice28,

My Stuff came today!! CMC brought it to DD's school valentine's party.

I also asked when she will be placing her next order, so I can get some items off my wish list. She said she orders the first of the month. Thanks for explaining that to me. BTW, I think I'm going to go with the yellow for DS's baby book. The purple just isn't him. But I think I'm going to get the tanzanite for my family album.

You're quite welcome. I love to help people out with any CM questions or concerns!

I love the yellow album as a choice for baby as well. We are considering having a 3rd baby and I would pick the yellow album over the baby coverset, or even blue or pink (depending on sex of course). It just screams BABY to me! My other DS's albums aren't CM albums- I have thought about taking them apart and redoing them, but I just chalk it up to my scrappin history. :D

Have fun filling out your wish list! New catalogs come out next month!
