For brown eyed and blue eyed parents.. what color are your kids' eyes?

DH's eyes are blue. Mine are green/hazel. Both DS and DD are blue.
I am the only one in my family that has green (both parents blue and sisters and brother blue too). Course I am the only one with RH negative blood type too...

Always wanted a little girl with big brown eyes. Not a snowballs chance of that I guess... LOL

We couldn't have predicted our girls eye colors if our lives had depended on it!

Well both our kids have blue eyes but both DH and I have blue eyes so that was not a shock for us. DH has brown hair and I have red hair and DS has darker blond hair and DD has brown hair. The red hair is at least going to skip on generation.

LOL, if you had a brown eyed child, you would have some 'splainin to do!

I didn't have any red headed children either, I figure it could pop back up with grandchildren. Neither my mother or father had red hair, but both my aunt and uncle did. I am the only sibling with red hair.

My mom has brown eyes, my dad has bright blue eyes. Sis and I both have brown eyes. My grandmother (mom's mother) was always saying nasty things like "couldn't one of you have gotten your dad's blue eyes?" DH and I are a blue/brown couple, and I always expected to have brown eyed children. I didn't realize that 1 in 4 children with brown/blue eyed parents would have blue eyes.

The funny thing is that in our case, the children who received our physical genetic traits are also the most like us, personality wise. My eldest DD is like my DH and my youngest DD is like me. And our son is a mix (physically too). Kinda strange huh?

I have very blue eyes, my ex-DH has brown eyes. Oldest son has brown eyes and younger son has the exact same shade of blue as me. It's from my paternal grandfather's side of the family, and what's weird is that everyone with those blue eyes is also extremely nearsighted, but in my kids, my brown eyed child is the nearsighted one and the blue eyed child has 20/20 vision.

DD has the same shade as my husband, mostly brown with a hint of green.

My dh and I are both brown eyed dark brown eyed. Both of our Dad's have Blue eyes, so we both have a recessive gene for blue. Anyway we have 4 kids the first 2 are blonde Blue eyed. ( Despite the fact we are BOTH brown)
And our twins are light brown haired and brown eyes. ( Both of them)

Where did Bri get her gray eyes. My parents have hazel and baby blue eyes.

DD8- tanned looking skin, brown eyes, brown, beautifully curled hair that she hates.

Two children--both blue eyes, one blonde hair, the other has coppery color hair, like a new penny.

Crazy thing genetics...my DH has hazel/brown; DS1 has green, DS2 has BLUE, and so far DD has dk. blue, but that could very well change as she's only 4 weeks old.

Both my parents had brown eyes. Both have very dark hair. There are no blondes or red heads in our family. I have blue eyes and dark blonde/reddish hair. I must resemble the mail man because my brother and sister both have very dark hair and brown eyes.

my mom has blond hair and blue eyes, and my dad has brown hair and brown eyes. all their kids have brown hair, my sister has blue eyes, and i have one eye that is all brown, and one that is 75% brown and 25% blue.

My mom & dad each have blue eyes and all 7 of us kids have blue eyes....My dh has brown almost black eyes...my two DS each take after their dad....no blue eyed children for me....bummer! Both of my kids had blond hair as toddlers and as they matured (ha!) their hair started turning darker.
