Not sure how to spell that last one!

Which do you prefer for breakfast? We've done the first two and loved them, but we've done 1900 Park Fair the last two years so I'm wondering if we should switch it up.

We're doing the quick-service dining plan so are limiting ourselves to only a couple TS this trip.

Donald's Safari Brekafast is one of the best character meal we go to. Its a must on ever trip for our family.

I concur with the previous post - Donald's Safari Breakfast is fantastic. The character interaction was great and the food was the best breakfast buffet that we have had to date.pirate:pirate:

I third Donald's Safari breakfast. We're skipping it this trip because I refuse to set foot in AK during the summer :)

It depends on what characters you want to see. Donald's is the Fab 5 (usually) and CP is the Winnie the Pooh set.

I agree with the other posters - Donald's is a better bet.

By Donald's Breakfastosaurus, do you mean Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House? I think Animal Kingdom used to offer a character meal at Restaurantosaurus, but it has been discontinued.

If so, I strongly recommend it. Tusker House easily serves my favorite character breakfast. The buffet has more variety and the food is more creative than its counterparts.

I haven't been to Donald's breakfast but between the 1900 Park Fare and Crystal Palace I would certainly do Crystal Palace. Pooh's puffed french toast alone brings me back. But also I love getting into Magic Kingdom before it opens so we can get pictures in front of the castle with no one in the background.

I think the CP is fabulous but it is large & usually crowded. You really have to keep an eye out for the characters because if you miss them, it takes about an hour for them to make a round. And I think the "crystal" ceiling is pretty.

1900PF is smaller - buffet & restaurant but was pretty good. It's also usually crowded. It's fun to be there if "Big Bertha' plays. Plus it's the only place we've seen Mad Hatter character. He's a real hoot!

Did Restaruantasaureous, all but last trip was really good. Have not done Donald's bfast at Tusker House, but have done non-character lunch at TH, thought it was very good.

Enjoy!

I adore all 3, but I think you should def try Donalds! it was fun and the food was great!

The pastries/doughnuts at Donald's breakfast are FANTASTIC. There is a wide selection of food there, too. I vote to try Tusker House!

We also love Donald's Safari Breakfast! I have not done 1900 park fare, but have eaten dinner at CP twice.

CP is crowded but good. 1900 Park Fair is also large but doesn't seem quite as crowded. I think it is the way it is configured. Have not been to Donald's since the moved it to Tusker House but based on my previous experience it was the absolute worst meal I have ever had in Disney. From the service to the food inedible and barley luke warm and we were there when in opened in the morning. I have been going to disney since I was 13 back in 76. Based on this I would probably go back to CP again as the food was best there. GF for dinner though. It is large but the food was great. Best character interaction. Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters are a hoot. I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. They spotted my DS's age 21 and 19 at the time and their budy also 19. I would do the dinner there in a heartbeat.

Have not been to Donald's since the moved it to Tusker House but based on my previous experience it was the absolute worst meal I have ever had in Disney.

Breakfastausorus was awful but the new Donald Safari breakfast is completly different. A lot more to choose from, and it's a real buffet setup, not just that table they stuck in the middle of the CS place with lukewarm dishes on it. Character interaction was much better too, since the place is huge and characters have plenty of room to play in.

Doing all three next month. I have taken Chef Mickeys off my breakfast list and replaced it with 1900 Park Fare (even though I am doing it for dinner). Donalds Breakfast Safari is a must do. I like the fact they moved it from Dino Land. Crystal Palace is always on my list. Love the atmosphere and I want to see if there were any changes since they have had renovations.

sionce youve been to crystal palace before ide say tusker house (donalds safari breakfast) i like crystal palace and tusker house but since youve never been to tusker house ide say there even tho crystal palace is really good. i guess it comes down to would you rather see pooh and freinds or donalds daisy goofy and mickey?

I think they all have great merits. That said I've not been to Donald's since it moved to Tusker House. My last visit to Donald's breakfast was in 2000 so my experience there, while a fond memory, isn't timely enough to merit a strong opinion.

I agree with the PP's that it depends on who you want to see at your breakfast. IMHO (and sometimes not so humble) the biggest perks of Crystal Palace and Tusker House is to obtain the first reservation of the day so you're already in the park, fed, fueled and ready to go when the park opens. 1900 Park Fair we usually do on our last day when we're not dead set on a rope drop but so much of that depends on your touring style and preferences.

However, if you've been to CP and 1900 PF why not try something new this time? Esp since it does get rave reviews.

Have a great time!

we really enjoyed Donalds Safari Breakfast--it's the only
character meal that has Daisy. The atmosphere at
Tusker House is wonderful--Very exotic. The food was
very good with plenty of variaty. They also serve
Jungle Juice that is yummy. The coffee was also good there--
not the nescafe' (yuck).

We did CP last week, and it will become our new tradition. Can't say enough about that 8:05 ADR, getting into an "empty" MK, and still being out in time for RD.

I couldn't get a ressie for Tusker House breakfast this time around, but it is defintely a must-do for our next trip. ds(3) wants to eat breakfast with Donald Duck!

Chef Mickey's is bar far the best in my opinion. Next would be CP OR 1900.
