I know there a couple of WWE fans - this is the official news:

Benoit family found dead

The WWE just told its talent and released on its web site that Chris Benoit was found dead by Atlanta police.

Benoit, wife Nancy aka Woman and son Daniel were all found dead. We have no other details at this moment. It is believed that Chris Benoit's two other children were in Canada.

All plans for Raw tonight have been scrapped and they will do a show on the life of Benoit.

It's just shocking, and after the Vince storyline on TV.

Don't know what to think - the least harrowing explanatio is something like a gas leak - any other reason gets sinister.

So sad as it looks like Police are treating it as two murders and a suicide :(

Claire

That's terrible :sad2:

There is now speculation that Nancy suffocated Daniel and when chris arrived home he killed her and hung himself. Apparently he sent a very strange text to another wrestler and close friend (as close as anyone was to Chris who was a very guarded person) Chavo Guerrero Jnr on Sunday which gave him the impression something wasn't right.

EDIT: Latest news from the investigators is that they believe Nancy and Daniel were killed by Chris over the weekend and then he killed himself on Monday.

This is very tragic.
My dp was up lastnight watching the show,he knew something wasnt right when the whole arena was empty.
He then got up and logged onto the website to see this tragic news.
RIP to Chris and his family.
Not sure of what has happened so much speculation.:guilty:

Reading this with tears in my eyes, how very sad. Chris Benoit was one of my favourites, always a true professional. My favourite storyline was the one he had with Chris Jericho and they had a constant war of words going on. Taped Raw last night so I will no doubt be crying through it later.

Laur's princess:

OMG that's terrible! How devastating for the rest of the family... :sad2:

He was one of my faves too, Laur's. I was a big fan of the Hart family and he was trained by Stu Hart, the dad of Brett and Owen. I know he was very highly thought of by the other wrestlers. This is a tragedy...

This is so sad i was up until after 2 this morning crying my eyes out watching raw still can't believe it. RIP Chris Nancy and Daniel Benoit

This is just like what happened to a speedway rider Kenny Carter in the 80's He shot his wife and 2 kids then turned the gun on himself.

I heard about this too, it's sad.. :sad2:

 to the rest of Beniot's family..

There is a press conference being shown on Sky Sports News at 8pm where they will presumably confirm that he strangled Nancy on Saturday, smothered Daniel on Sunday and then hung himself yesterday.

We had customers ringing up at work in tears over the storyline death of Vince, this will devestate them and confuse some of them too. I anticipate a long day at work tomorrow.

A terrible tragedy yes but so damn cowardly:mad:

I'm sorry, but whatever your problems are there is always a way out and the murder of innocents is not the answer.

How can anyone possibly be upset over a man that took the life of his wife and child!

I agree with what you are saying but i think we must remember Chris for the great wrestler he was.
