I think it's pretty much all out in the open now.

not really the fact that the wife died almost a day earlier than the son, and benoit was a day or so after that. Friday the wife dies, sat night sunday the son dies then monday benoit hangs himself. but what really gets me is no suicide note.

There are only 3 people who know what really happened in that house over the weekend and they are no longer around to comment. I have spoken to a lot of people who agree we didn't know Chris personally so we can't really judge we only saw the great wrestler he was and no matter what anyone says you can't take that away from him thats how i choose to remember him and the last i am going to say on this subject.

Actually there is only one. Remember, he killed his wife first. He then waited 24 hours before suffocating the life out of his seven year old son. So only double murderer Chris Benoit knows what happened, but he commited suicide.

I cried my eyes out when Eddie Guerrero died as i'd read and learnt so much about what he had been through and how he had turned his life around.

Chris Benoit on the other hand, while an awesome wrestler, was also very quiet and private in his life, and for this reason I dont think we are ever really going to know what happened to the three of them (and for that matter why).

For that reason, much like the WWE's current stance, I dont wish to cast aspersions, but I would suggest that the particuarly negative posters might be a little more considerate in expressing their opions.

I wasn't being particularly negative or inconsiderate, just actualy stating the fact that he is in fact a double murderer, and that doesn't change no matter how rose-tinted your glasses are!

How you choose to remember him is up to you but I won't shed any tears over him, just for his wife and son who didn't deserve that.

Lest you forget, he did actually look his son in the face whilst murdering him so I know I will sleep well tonight having condemed him for the lives that he took.

I don't accept murder under any circumstances and would hope that my children grow up knowing that it isn't acceptable under any circumstance no matter who you are.

You're right, he is a murderer. If anyone wants to use his mental condition or troubles he was having as an excuse, back in 1969 Peter Sutcliffe had a motorcycle crash which started to give him voices in the head. Six years on he started his killing spree. If you excuse Benoit you have to excuse Sutcliffe too.
