I need something light to carry around my arsenal of medication, chapstick, Purell, glasses, etc next week when I go to Disneyland. (First time!)

I don't need a large backpack and I prefer not to have the pockets of my cargo pants full of junk. I'm thinking fanny pack is the way to go but those tend to be a little awkward as well.

Any suggestions? Time is of the essence and of course so is $$$. Does anybody know of a company that makes smaller bags that are masculine?

I'd rather not have to use my wife as a pack mule.

my solution is a safari travel vest.....i posted lots of pictures of family wearing them on the last fanny pack thread!

I use a somewhat small black messenger bag. Fits my camera, water bottle and poncho, plus all the little stuff and has a handy pocket for maps, plans etc.

I have an old Jansport fanny pack that works really well (sortof like the picture below). It lays pretty flat against my body so it's not very bulky, depending on how much stuff I have in it. I usually put my money/ID/credit cards in the front compartment, and everything else (like chapstick, brush, sunglasses, sunscreen) in the bigger compartment. :confused3

Another alternative that I used on my last WDW trip is a monopack. Basically, it's like a really small backpack with only one strap, and is a bit larger than the typical fanny pack, but still much smaller than a typical backpack. I got it at Target (the one I got was one of their house brands), and I think I paid $15 or so for it.

The search continues. Target was a bust. Everything was a bit on the large side and all over $30! I'm cheap as you might have guessed but I'm beginning to think I'll have to shell out some cash for what I'm looking for. I wish they would make something with the exact number of compartments I need.

You can try ebags, they usually have bags at good prices. Check the Budget Board here to see if someone has a code to use. :)

and unisex. They come in navy and black. One I have is navy w/tan suede. I don't think I've ever paid over $9 for one. Some have mesh pockets, some have snap links for keys.
